Overall it was a good experience with Griswold and the caregiver we had was very friendly. The only thing I did not like was the way that you pay them, they bill you each week rather than every 2 weeks or month. I would tell others just to make sure to read between the fine lines.

I only used them once so far. Everything went well. I am going to be using their services again this Sunday on Mothers Day. Looking forward to the same results. Great agency to call when you only want somebody for a few hours now and then.

They were able to do a full assessment for my Dad quickly and matched him with a wonderful, compassionate caregiver also on short notice. I feel comfortable knowing my Dad is being well cared for. After my father was no longer able to drive, Griswold provided an aide to drive him to errands and appointments two afternoons a week. This arrangement lasted for just over a year until he passed away. Griswold went above and beyond - the director even made house calls to help him when he couldn't take care of something on his own. Despite his reluctance to give up any independence, my father was very satisfied with Griswold. My sisters and I were extremely happy with the caring and professional help he received.

Overall our experience with Griswold Home Care has been a very good one! Other than a few issues with scheduling we're very pleased with the service. We've got a rotation of 4 different aides we work with, and each one of them does an excellent job, our loved one is really thriving with the care they are providing him!

After 11 years of caring for our parents by ourselves, we hired Griswold Home Care to help us care for them. We only needed a few hours a day when we first employed them and then unfortunately our Mother had a stroke. In order for our Mother to come home from the nursing home, we employed Griswold full time. The caregivers are dedicated, caring compassionate individuals who treated our parents like their own parents or grandparents. Our parents and the entire family became friends with all of them. Due to their declining health, our parents are now in a nursing home. We also developed friendships with the office personnel at Griswold. The office is always there to help in adjusting the schedule for outings or handling any issues the family might have. Our family would recommend Griswold Home Care to help care for your elderly love ones.

This service has been wonderful for my 96 year old mother. Her sitter cooks meals and helps her feel safe in her home. She also drives mom around to doctor's appointments, to pick up her mail, and to grocery shop. If her regular sitter cannot come (for some reason), the service finds a replacement, so I am not scrambling to find help. All of this has freed me so that I can go out of town without worrying about my mother. Since I am her only relative in town, a large weight has been lifted off of my shoulders by Griswold Home Care. I could not be more grateful.

We had a very good experience with Griswold Home Care! The woman that we worked with was extremely helpful and very accommodating throughout the whole process. The aides they sent were able to handle all of the care needs we asked of them, and we never had any issues with scheduling or late caregivers.

Griswold was knowledgeable and up front. As someone completely new to having a sick and/ or dying parent, there are lots of unknowns that you don't even know to think about or ask. They had lots of advice about things I hadn't even begun to consider on this road to elder care. The person they sent out, Linda, was invaluable. My mom fell for her and would not let her go even though we had other relatives step up to help. She was thorough and gentle and we felt she really cared for my mom and my dad as well.

Although we are no longer using their services it was good while it lasted. The caregivers were very helpful although they didn't have to do much. If we needed to utilize home care again we will definitely be using them again.

Our experience with Griswold Special Care was a good one, I'd give them high marks across the board. The aide they sent us was friendly and professional, and very attentive. He was able to handle all of the tasks we needed him for!

They are very good with following up on any questions and being very good with communication. They care giver that they have given to help us out has been wonderful. They also helped us out a lot to get things sorted out with our insurance. Everything about Griswold Special Care has been great and I would highly recommend them.

So far its an expertly run organization. They go through great lengths to make sure that the caregivers that they send are highly skilled. They also made the process extremely easy. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. I can't rate the cleanliness or the activities because it is not applicable. The caregivers are sent to my home. Overall, this is an excellent agency. I would recommend it to anyone.

My dad can really be a lot of trouble, but they for the most part have done well. There was one time where they sent someone that I feel was not up to par for his needs with his dementia. She could have been a little more experienced. For the most part things have gone very well. They stay in constant communication with me and any time there is an issue we work through it together. I would recommend Griswold Home Care.

Overall we had a good experience with Griswold Home Care. They were able to send over someone who took care of everything we required, we were quite statisfied. The only issue we had is that we felt the billing could have been streamlined, you end up having to fill out forms with the caregiver directly instead of through the main office, and sometimes they were not sure how to fill things out.

They’re wonderful! When I was just by to visit them recently. They are very, v ery pleased with the value of the community. If anyone is looking for services, I would recommend this community completely.
