Overall we are pleased. We had to move my father-in-law to [community name removed] for extended care. The property is very clean and has a home feeling. The care my father-law receives is very comforting to know he is so happy there. The staff is excellent and very well trained. Overall we are very happy and so is he.

[name removed], the Administrator is excellent. She always responds if we have a question or issue. The caregivers are friendly and interact with the residents. They always welcome our visits, even the kids, and our family dog Webster. They had a fabulous Christmas party last year. Residents were dancing and we were all singing with a DJ. It was one of the best memories we have with Mom since entering Assisted Living. Mom also gets regular haircuts, nails polished and a medical checkup monthly. They even have a podiatrist that comes in. [name removed] has been diligent to work to get Mom on the right medications to assist with her Sundowners and anxiety at night. Mom is doing so much better. Smaller, more homelike facility has been a plus.

Our family had an in person tour and this was a community we toured very early on in our process but it was a very nice tour experience

The staff is very attentive and kind. My mother likes the food and her room much more than her previous community. We can't say enough good things! They have been very good with managing her medications and have done a great job managing the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic. The care giving staff is great about handling all the residents, even those with higher levels of care. The community itself is very clean and the cleaning staff is very attentive to our requests. They have a lot of activities as well for the residents to participate in. The building itself is very bright and cheerful as well. We have no complaints. The manager has been wonderful as well and helped me when I really need. The billing is great and we have had no issues and the pharmacy at the community has been good as well. I cannot say enough about the attentiveness of the staff and have witnessed them be so friendly and good with the residents and it never fails to make us happy.

This place has been PERFECT for my 83-yr-old mother, who has moderate dementia and mostly uses a wheelchair. The building is small and simple, with few residents, which is ideal for someone who has memory challenges. The staff is AMAZING, they truly care for each resident, and have shown patience and kindness daily. I have dropped in there several times unannounced and stayed for several hours, and witness how they cook, clean, and care for residents daily with heart, despite challenges with residents' capabilities and sometimes not-so-great behavior. The place is clean and well kept - and so is my mother. This is not one of those larger assisted living places that have a vast array of activities; activities are perfectly simple that compliment the level of ability of the residents. This makes a difference too in the cost, very reasonable for assisted living. Personal touches like fresh flowers on the tables, knowing food preferences, and learning each residents' background makes the difference. The facility has nice outdoor space, with a next-door playground to allow watching small kids play. I highly recommend Piney Orchard for folks with dementia challenges.

The facility was very clean and the staff very friendly. I like that it is a smaller facility with a total of 16 residence. I am looking for a short term respite care and am hopeful that there will be a bed available when I need a place for my mother.

This community does not have the feel of a hotel or institution. I am able to stop by anytime to visit. I get a comforting feeling from this community. The staff are nice, caring, attentive, responsive and understand the families feelings. This is a very nice community and they do offer some nice activities. We are happy with the move and I would recommend taking a look at this community.

Our father has been in and out of multiple homes it has been so frustrating but I think we finally found the perfect place! The staff is incredible such a beautiful loving atmosphere ready to help you with anything. We found out we were paying for things that we should have never been paying for and they handle everything I can't tell you how happy we are with his new home its a true home not just a care facility. [Removed] is awesome in every way I highly recommend you check out this place if you are in need!

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at HeartHomes at Piney Orchard. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff have been a big help throughout the whole process. They're taking great care of my loved one, we are entirely satisfied!

So I think they do it very well. I think for whatever reason there is some angst with the management right now. I haven't experienced anything, but the employees say so. But overall very good, I am very pleased.

I could not of asked for a better place for my Mom to have spent the last years of her life. The staff was kind and compassionate and truly cared about her. The home was always clean and there was never a day that I visited her that caused me any concern. Like anyone I hated having to place my Mom in a home but went it became apparent we could not provide the care she needed Heart Homes was a Godsend. I highly recommend Heart Homes if you are looking for somewhere for a parent that will make you at ease with the care provided this place is the best!

Heart Homes truly has a loving heart for my family member. We could not afford them without the sale of our loved ones condo. Heart Homes worked with me on the financial side. So far we are so pleased.

It can be difficult to join in some of the activities if you are hard of hearing. I have had complaints about the food, there aren't enough dessert options. It's small which I like, and works best for our situation. It's has a more homey atmosphere. They decorate so much for all the different hollidays, we love that.

Overall we are pretty pleased with them. Sometimes the housekeeping in the rooms could be a little better. They could vacuum more, and the trash could be taken out a little more often. They are very attentive in calling me and letting me know how things are going. The food is about a four, sometimes the meat can be a little tough.

Would like to revisit during a meal time.

We are very happy with HeartHbomes at Bay Ridge. She seems to be very happy. We had placed her in a facility that she wasn't happy with previously. She says the staff here are so nice to her. Every time we go and visit she is very engaged. There were workers and residents sitting on the front one time when I dropped her off after taking her out. They were very personal and asked how her visit was. So far so good at this facility.

Great value, home-like setting, all of the staff were good and several were awesome and developed special relationships with my dad. They were excellent at communicating with me about my dad's needs. I am so grateful I found a wonderful place for my dad at an affordable price - highly recommend.
