The Villas of Casa Celeste

My loved one is currently a resident at The Villas of Casa Celeste and everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The sales lady, [name removed], is amazing. They have been wonderful to work with. [Name removed] is also great. The housekeeping I'm not sure of, they are currently in between house cleaners. The laundry service is amazing. I would recommend The Villas of Casa Celeste to others!

The Villas fits our needs! We throughly, enjoy the individual/independent or assisted Villa living. We have a a large open, outdoor patio, a full kitchen if we choose to cook and privacy. Villa's meals are presented nicely & quite tasty. Staff are friendly, caring and work hard to meet and please residents' needs. An other plus, is my option of gardening. Glad I choose Villas of Casa Celeste as my home.

My sister stayed at the villas of Casa Celeste. The villa was very spacious and had nice wide halls and hard wood floors which was easy with her wheelchair. The meals were served in a very nice dining room with a great selection of meals and very friendly staff. The care was above and beyond my expectations and it was nice to see residents out in the community socializing I would recommend this facility to anyone needing independent and assisted living . Very nice and well maintained and managed

I was greeted at Kensington Gardens. They wanted me to visit Casa Celeste. They were very informative and I was very interested in moving there. The apartment is so nice. The dining room is very large, and they cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm picked up in a golf cart and we have rehab center and the nurses bring our meds. Everyone at Casa Celeste is so very helpful and nice.

Administrative staff are to be commended for their care for my lovely big brother. The facility & patient services personnel provide empathetic & positive interactions with my brother. I haven’t seen a setting as beautiful & calming as Casa Celeste. I know he is in the best place possible. I’m sure Mom & Dad would be at peace with living situation.

They're better than most assisted living facilities because you get an individual villa with a patio. So you have more privacy. But there are staffing issues. There are too many staff members wanting to supervise and not enough of them implementing care. They ride around around on golf carts and are on their cell phones. They aren't doing enough to keep the facility clean. They lost their housekeeper and are only cleaning the villas every 4-6 weeks. So cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. They're also not doing enough to help the residents with care either. They seem to ignore even serious complaints or calls for help.

I would recommend that you ask a lot of questions. As the staff make a lot of promises that aren't fulfilled. The reality isn't what the staff is portraying. The staff should be checking on the residents in the villas daily. The concern is that a resident could be ill or passed and no one would know for days since the staff isn't checking on these residents. The residents used to have choices for meals, and now the community only provides a single choice. In addition the residents aren't able to ask for salads like in the past. It would be nice to see more healthy options available. There is an option of a turkey sandwich available as well, if you don't like what is being served. The chefs all seemed to have quit and the community doesn't have a regular cook available. There are a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. However, there is a fear of catching something as there are no masks being worn by the residents or the staff for the most part. This is a great place, as the Villas is very unique. The residents are able to have solitude in the Villas, yet still have the ability to socialize when they would like with other residents.
