Land of Peace

After trying several assisted living options for my mom, we finally found a place that truly feels like home. This residence is small and intimate, with only 6 to 8 people per house, which makes all the difference. The environment is cozy, peaceful, and personal. What stands out the most is the staff as they’re genuinely caring, attentive, and treat the residents like family. The management, Sona, is truly the best and I'm so grateful for her and her care. My mom has been known to voice her discomfort or frustration in past places, but this is the first time she’s been consistently happy. She not only feels well cared for, she actually loves the staff. It’s clear they go above and beyond to create a sense of belonging, respect, and warmth. We’re so grateful to have found a place where she feels safe, valued, and truly at peace. If you're looking for a loving home for your loved one, this is the kind of place that restores your trust in elder care.

My father has lived here for about 3 years now and I am beyond grateful for this place. The staff are friendly and attentive. The director is an angel. I would recommend land of Peace 1000 times over.

I'm very happy with Land of Peace. My mom is very well taken care of and is happy there. The staff is wonderful, caring, and very patient. She can be a challenge at times and they are very good with her. She needs 24hr supervision, meals, help with her meds, etc. The staff happily provides all of the above without complaint. The administrator ([name removed]) is very kind and responsive to any request. This is really important to me as we are out of state. I would recommend Land of Peace to anyone who needs this type of care for their loved ones. I don't have to worry about my mom not being treated well. I know she is safe and well cared for.

My brother recently joined the Land of Peace family. The staff is very caring, friendly and the place is very clean and has a homey atmosphere. Our family now feels more at peace because he is now in a place that gives respect and wonderful care to their residents.

On this amazing journey of standing by my beautiful Mom since my father, her partner of 49.75 years, passed away in 2010, I can say hands down that Land of Peace is the best facility I have come across in my 15 years of experience! That experience has been through 4 different states (Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota & California) & in those states a total of 19 different facilities later I have come to that conclusion. My Mother's health has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. It is one I have gladly ridden with her single-handedly caring for her arrangements. The proper help is crucial when you are a "single parent" of the elderly. They never grow up. They never graduate. The best you can do is keep them comfortable in a simple quality of life. Whether it be the ICU, General Hospital, Skilled Nursing Home, Rehab or Assisted Living, the place my Mom has been happiest to return to is Land of Peace. In fact on her 95th birthday her dearest wish was to live to 110! Thanks Land of Peace

Land of Peace is truly just that for my Mom. Peace due to an amazing owner and nurse who are experienced, always available, knowledgeable, and kind. The office is onsite which makes it easy to pop in and ask a question. Peace due to the amazing caregivers who are genuinely kind and passionate about caring for the elderly. They are wonderful with mom and greet me when I visit with welcoming smiles. Peace for me because of the team approach taken between administrators and the care-givers. Excellent communication between the team to ensure mom gets the absolute best care. Peace due to the excellent nutritional food they cater in daily. Peace because of their precise medication management which is complex with mom but they have excellent records to show what she has taken and when. Peace because the homes are spotlessly clean & smell fresh. I do have experience with Mom in other board and care homes and I can say with conviction that Land of Peace is above and beyond other facilities.

I recommend Land of Peace to anyone and everyone. My mom has been happily living here for several years now and I could not ask for anything better. Loving caring personal and beautifully kept clean houses. Starting from the owner on down everyone is loving and caring and truly love their patients. They have been a complete blessing for not only for my mom, but for my peace of mind as well. I know that as long as my mom is there I can sleep at night and not have to worry about how she’s doing or the care she’s receiving because I know she is getting the BEST! I am so pleased to share my experience with Land of Peace, a senior living facility that truly lives up to its name. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by friendly staff who exuded warmth and compassion. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, creating an immediate sense of comfort for residents and visitors alike. The facility is VERY clean with a common area that encourages social interaction and activities. One standout aspect of Land of Peace is the dedication of the staff. They genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to ensure their needs are met. I observed many staff members interacting with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, which truly enhances the community feel.

My mother is a resident here. She receives good care from the staff who provide day-to-day care and the owner is great about communicating with me if needed and easy to contact with any questions or concerns. The neighborhood is quiet and the home is well-maintained and spacious. I’m happy that mom is getting the care she needs in a place that treats her with respect in a home setting.

My mother in law has been at land of peace for a little over a year. She has some dementia and blind. The care she gets there is amazing. The employees are all very polite. And very personable and very professional. The facility is extremely clean, very organized. I have been there many many times visiting my mother in law and have never had any kind of bad experience there. The young lady that runs the facility is so loving and caring She is always there And available for conversations She truly cares about every person, including the family of the loved one that they have there. I would hope when I get a little bit older and I need to go somewhere My family will find a place just like land of peace to put me because it's truly like being at home there.

This is a wonderful place with amazing people. Caregivers really caring and pay attention to details. They are the first who notice when something is off. Maybe new rash, or a bruise, or cough, or if someone is weaker or has no appetite. They are angels. [name removed], the owner, she goes above and beyond. She is very involved and just one text or phone call away. She will get in touch with doctors or nurses if needed and will fight for your mom’s wellbeing. It seems like people who work there are like one family and you just feel that you are in good hands.

My mother has been here for close to two years and I have peace of mind knowing that she is in a safe place. The house is always clean, the caregivers are wonderful, the food is good, and Sona keeps me informed about everything. Sona has gone over and above to make sure that my mother is well cared for. I have the highest praise for this facility!!

The caregivers and owners of Land of Peace 2 are sincerely kind and nurturing towards the residents. My family member has balance challenges that led to numerous falls initially. Her caregivers worked patiently and attentively to remind her that she should ask for help rather than try to do things that were too difficult physically for her. They have helped her adjust to her need to do only one thing at a time to stay safe. She is doing much better in this regard now. My family member has COPD and requires oxygen 24 hours a day. The staff take excellent care of her and take care of the necessary supplies. That was too much for her to manage herself. My family member prefers solitary time for reading, drawing, watching tv, and also eating. At Land of Peace, she is allowed to eat in her room. Despite the fact that she chooses to be alone most of the time, she likes the people who take care of her very much. And, the staff genuinely care about the residents.

I had to find a place for my dad because his Dementia was getting worse. After doing my research, I decided to contact Land of Peace. That phone call changed my dad's life. The transition was so smooth, thanks to [name removed](administrator). My dad has been there for 6 months now and I could not be happier with the care they provide. He is always clean, well fed and genuinely seems happy to be there. The caregivers are very attentive, and it's a pleasure to see how they interact with residents. They play games, sing and it truly seems like everyone is enjoying being there. Bottom line is, nobody ever wants to put their loved one in a facility, but if there is no other option, by choosing Land of Peace, you will have that peace of mind, knowing that your loved one is truly in Land of Peace.

It’s hard to put into words my gratitude for Land of Peace. The owners AND the caregivers are kind, attentive, and genuinely care. Before finding land of peace, we cycled through many care homes. After experiencing so many different homes, Land of Peace was a surprising and very welcome savior for us. They take wonderful care of my mom and not only meet her needs, they provide the love and compassion that she deserves. My mom is probably the most difficult resident as far as her needs go, and she has been met with grace and patience and love from all. I have known the owners for almost four years now and the consistency of management to ensure that the residents and their families receive excellent service from onboarding to the quality of care.
