Westover Memory Care took excellent care of my mom when she was there from 2021-January 2023 in which mom passed. Everyone was so loving and giving and it gave me reassurance she had people tending to her better than I could at my home. I would name people who went above and beyond but I don’t want to leave anyone out. Hope this helps someone who is considering making a decision for their loved one.

We picked this community, because of the price of the atmosphere, it's very bright, friendly people and clean. It's a great place for your loved one. I would recommend it, and I have.

I would definitely recommend Artis. It is very expensive though and going up and it private pay. Their communications are lacking in giving updates on the resident, but great when I contact them. The director when my loved one moved in has left and I don't think he's been replaced. They are supposed to send an activities calendar, but that doesn't happen often. I do want to say that my experience with A Place for Mom provided excellent service when we were selecting a facility. The gentleman,[name removed] was excellent to work with at APFM.

My mother lived at Artis Senior Living for a little over a year and a half. While there she received excellent care. The facility is small so they know everyone by name. It is clean, bright facility with single rooms for each resident. They have a wonderful program of activities as well as events for family participation. We enjoyed many Sunday picnics with mom and the Artis family of caregivers. These outdoor events in their garden area were well planned and gave us the opportunity to interact with other families and residents. My mother really enjoyed living at Artis and I always knew she was safe and happy there. Mom recently passed and it was a great relief to me that she could stay there while in hospice care. Gentiva Hospice worked with Artis caregivers to provide mom with a quality end of life care. I can not say enough about how positive my experience was with both Artis and Gentiva. I am so grateful to have had all of your help, guidance and care for my mother.

They communicate well with the family, they treat the residents well, and they have a variety of activities for the residents to partake in. We picked this community, because of the intimacy and price.

My husband has been a resident of Memory Care of WestoverHills for 8 months. He calls it “home.” I visit him almost every day. Here is what I have observed: 1) The facility is bright, spacious, clean, and well furnished; 2) The facility is secure so the residents cannot wander off the premises ; 3)The menu is varied and the food well prepared and tasty; 4) The place does not smell of urine and messes are cleaned up promptly; 5) Residents are treated with respect and caring; 6)The nursing staff keeps me updated regarding my husband’s health status and any medication changes. I highly recommend Memory Care of Westover Hills.

Artis of Bartlett is a great place. I'm very happy with the choice we made for my mom. The facility setup is nice - it's all on one floor, and it's split up into "neighborhoods" that tie into local areas around Bartlett. The staff have good communication with me, and also with each other. They use radios for effective communication within the facility. There is definitely enough staff to care for the residents. They have excellent activities and keep the residents busy and engaged. Overall I've been very pleased with the facility and the people at Artis.

They are very friendly and responsive. My loved one likes the food and seems happy. They offer activities dailiy. We picked this community because, it was less expensive than other places.,very clean, homey, and a smaller community. Anytime you have a question, they are right on top things. Overall, the staff is wonderful.

It was a good experience. We picked this community because, of the location and their ability to handle myloved ones aggressive behavior.

They staff had a lot of patience with our loved one and compared to other places and what we were able to receive the value did really well for us. All of the meals that we saw when we would come to visit looked really good and they did have activities going on for those who were ale to participate in them. Based on the experience we had we would recommend them to other families.

All of these type of communities are expensive but everything we have experience so far with Artis Senior Living of Elmhurst we have been very happy so overall the value is totally worth it. We have had a few meals with our loved one and they are delicious, and we know he seems to eat everything they serve up for the residents. We are not sure just how many activities they have because our loved one does to really participate in them, but sometimes he will join in at the community center. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

This is an exceptional facility

I do think is a great facility and the staff is very dedicated. This is a great fit four our loved one and family.

My mom has been at Artis Senior Living in Elmhurst just about a year now, and she really loves living here. She has her own room and private bathroom but most of all she loves the staff. They are kind, professional, and family. We know them all by name. We see them when we visit because they look in on her and speak to us when we are there. They have activities, good food, clean environment, and top notch medical care. Again, from front desk people to volunteers the atmosphere is always positive and always about the happiness of the residents. I am so relieved we were able to find a place like this to take care of mom, keep her safe and most of all make her happy.

This community was a wonderful place either for respite or long term placement for you or your loved one. We did respite but in doing that we were able to meet other residents that we could see were being well taken care of. The staff were very positive and knowledgeable at this community. The staff were also always willing to help whenever asked.

We chose Artis of Bartlett because dad was needing more care at this point and I felt they were going to provide the best care for him. It is a smaller facility, only about 30 residents so he gets more individual attention. He is very happy here and we have been so happy with our experience. All of the staff members are extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend them to other families who are looking.
