Memory Care
My father has resided at Maplewood for 1-1/2 years. He has a very comfortable handicapped equipped apartment with a full kitchen. Maplewood offers a variety of activities for it's residents. The activities director and assistant work very hard to provide a range of engaging activities for the residents, including, but not limited to, concerts, discussion groups, and movies. Additionally, my father particularly enjoys working daily with the physical therapist in both balance classes and one on one strength training. There are a number of comfortable gathering spaces located through-out the residence. During the warmer months the residents are able to enjoy a very spacious and nicely furnished terrace. Throughout the ongoing Covid pandemic the staff, as well as the corporate offices, have worked tirelessly to keep everyone healthy and engaged. In particular I can't thank them enough for cheerfully helping my father to become comfortable with zoom. Their help enabled us to regularly "see" one another during an especially difficult time. The staff at Maplewood are all caring and kind, working daily to create and maintain a positive and engaging environment for the residents.
Read moreVery good staff for the most part. It is a good environment with a lot of bright people. The community is quite clean and have housekeepers on each floor. The staff is very friendly and knew my name immediately. The activities are good and they offer good off-community trips and normal on-site games and such. The value is probably on par with others here at Cadbury Commons. The community is very well run.
Read moreFrom the initial contact with your service and Watertown this difficult time was made immensely easier. The sales and promotion staff was thorough and exceptionally friendly. Options were spelled out in easy to understand detail so budgeting was facilitated and decisions were easier to make. But primarily, our mother has made a smooth transition to Watertown and enjoys the staff and services. They are professional and their advice has made us all understand our options and future course of action. Thanks for the expert advice and guidance. We'll recommend you to all who inquire.
