Carefree Senior Living

It's a little pricey. I had 3 people looking for a place, loved mine, but changed their mind when they saw the pricing. The staff is wonderful. Always smiling. I love living there. It also feels secure. When I was moving in, I was carrying boxes and didn't see a rock that had rolled out of the garden. I fell on my back side and hit my head. A friend that moved in about a month before me did the same thing. She ended up with a concussion. She had other injuries also. When visiting with some neighbors, we found out that quite a few residents have fallen on those rocks.

5 for all the categories that are listed. My Mom is very happy living at Carefree Senior Living community and tells me so frequently. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Me & my mother like our Villa apartment here at Carefree North Natomas, almost like a duplex, very spacious. And lots of activities for the residences. We've been on bus trips, we have happy hour & game days.

This place stood out to us because it appeared much newer, and a much better layout. More apartment options. Staff appeared more attentive. By the way, this is not an assisted living facility. Fully independent. The staff has been very good to work with. The complex does offer a lot of activities. It is well maintained. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Your apartment is a new place which helps you settle in place without a problem. so if you're searching for yourself or parents Carefree is the place to be one stop shopping.

I think they offer fair pricing, and the friendliness of the staff and residents is off the charts. If I have any issues, I can just call and there's always somebody there to answer. Activities have been a little limited, but they're doing the best they can. They still have the clubhouse closed, but they're offering things like chair exercises, pool exercises, and bingo. They're allowing the exercise room with the machines for use by appointment. On Fridays, they've been having live entertainment. Every morning they have a walk with the activities director where they go for as stroll around the property. I feel it's a very good value here.

They're very, very friendly, and very helpful. It's an excellent value and a reasonable cost for what you get. All of the apartments are remodeled before a new tenant moves in. My only complaint is there's no icemaker in the refrigerator, and the fridge is a little smaller. But when you downsize from a house to an apartment, you have to give up something. Based on Covid restrictions, I think they've done the best they can with activities. In the old days, they served breakfasts and lunches and had happy hours with singers and piano entertainment. They have an excellent on-site barbershop/salon, for men and women, and you can get a manicure/pedicure there too. I love that feature, and it's a very reasonable price too. I can get my hair cut for 15 bucks. The pool is open with occupancy restrictions, so we're getting back to before Covid. I feel we were lucky. I was not expecting the quality that we found here. Our only problem was downsizing from a house, so we're on a waiting list for a garage to use for storage. But we'll get one eventually.

We enjoy the grounds this community has, and the apartments they provide for the residents okay.

The apartments are spacious, nice, they have plenty of space for our loved ones thing and she is very happy there.

I have lived at Carefree for over 3 years and love it here. I never would have met so many people who became friends, in a regular apartment complex. The maintenance staff is responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The office staff are also friendly and helpful.

My garbage disposal was leaking and the rubber sealant on refrigerator door was loose. I put in a work order and someone was out the next day to see what was wrong. They replaced it disposal and sealant. [name removed] and her helper were helpful and friendly. I've been here 2 years and every time I've had to call about something, rather large or small, they are helpful and friendly.

The staff is exceptional. Everyone of them offers professional assistance from a Bus ride chaffered by [name removed] who makes every passenger feel "special", to [name removed] who offers virtual entertainment and offers weekly luncheons for a very small fee that is especially prepared with awesome recipes; and [name removed] who heads an outstanding repair and installation team. If you want a curtain rod or shelving installed, it is offered as part of the amenities. Covid 19 had curtailed many of the programs such as Friday night parties with live musicians and dancing with free cocktails as a part of the offering. I cannot say enough in praise of the staff and considering the dangers they face with this pandemic, they all deserve a big THANK YOU.

Carefree is my home. Will be my home until someone up there has different plans for me.

We toured Carefree and the staff were SO sweet and very attentive. They were very quick with their response time as well. The only roadblocks were that there was very little closet space in the rooms and there was no backyard area and my mom has a little dog so that would have been difficult.

The facility is good if the person moving in is independent. It's a little on the pricey side for a place that doesn't provide the services that many others do. So, I would recommend it for those that are independent and don't need all the extra services.

This place seems to be fun for seniors, income 1x rent, special offers $1 move in& first month rent free, friendly, feels like home.Parking spaces for seniors, getting in and out of vehicles too close together.

We live in the Villias which are perfect for us. The staff are all friendly and they are quick too meet our needs. It's a great location, near lots of stores and shopping.

I highly recommend this community. They care about their tenants. I think it's expensive, but everything else is good - great care. The finishes are good.
