Haven Memory Care

Professional staff with expert care! I love that they specialize in memory care. My mom was able to age in place with Haven with hospice services. I highly recommend Haven to anyone seeking care for their loved one!

Everyone is so helpful . They are quick to correct any problem my husband has had. He is eating better than I was able to get him to do at home. He is doing things for himself again he expected me to do. He is enjoying the activities. The surroundings are quite and since we used to live in the country he enjoys looking outside and see deer. Thank You everyone at Silverleaf for their help, kindness and understanding.

The community is very well kept and reasonably priced for the services provided. My aunt is enjoying the variety of food offered. She is having a great time playing bingo, doing arts and crafts, and enjoying birthday party celebrations. When I visit she is so excited to show me what she has done. I highly recommend Silverleaf of Athens!

SilverLeaf of Athens has been tremendous. Brianne is very skilled with dementia patients. She assessed and acepted my mom for admission without causing my mother to feel Uncomfortable or paranoid. Briann's expertise & natural affiliation for her job are clear . She is respectful, natural and knowledgeable and it appears the rest of the staff life up to the same level of professional expertise. I live out of state and was only involved prior to moms admission. My sister lives in Watkinsville and is extremely happy with the care my mom is receiving. Most importantly my mom is happy at SilverLeaf. We feel secure in the fact that she's being cared for at SilverLeaf. Thank you so much, Mignon for all of your expertise, feedback and guidance in helping to find my mom a great placement.

My loved one was in another "fancier" facility but did not receive the care that she receives at Silverleaf. Silverleaf takes care of people - even the ones that resist - which my loved one did. Even though they have more than the state required staff/patient ratio, they are challenged because the patients they have are the most extreme cases of dementia/alzheimer's. They take care of the ones that no one else can….I give them credit for the good work that they do in the toughest of circumstances. I go there nearly every day to see my loved one. I can attest to the attention she receives. The staff genuinely cares and that goes a long way with me. If Silverleaf was "prettier" their waiting list would be be out the door. Do I wish they had nicer carpet and furniture? Yes. But then they would probably have to charge a lot more money, too….so I am grateful for the staff and this place that can take good care of my loved one. I highly recommend it!

We are very much satisfied with them. The food is very good, I ate there myself. The staff were all very friendly, and it was a nice and clean place. They did a good job, and I would rate them highly.

This community isn't quite as nice looking as some that we've seen, but everything else here is absolutely wonderful. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the patient to staff ratio is very good, everyone gets a lot of attention. They seem to have all kinds of activities and social events going on often. It is a good mix of freedom and containment, my loved one doesn't feel restrained, but I know he is in a safe secure memory care community.

Its’ a small community. He’s able to talk and be social with a lot of people. We had to convince him, but he’s doing real good. It’s a perfect fit for our budget. I haven’t heard anything negative. There is a big bird cage in the lobby and he really likes birds, fish, but he can’t have them himself anymore. Everyone that I talk to about it, everyone is very pleased. My brother and sister have been over there.

They've done an outstanding job so far! I'd give them top marks across the board. The facility is clean, the staff are all amazingly friendly, and the price and value of the care are great! The only area I'd really like to see them improve would be to have more activities for the memory care section, it seems they mostly just end up watching TV.

Overall they do a great job here, and my loved one seems happy. This place was recommended to us a by a few different sources, and they do seem to do an excellent job. It's a nice looking, clean facility, and the staff are all very friendly and professional.

It is a really good community. We are very satisfied with it and everything they are doing. The staff is friendly and they seem to know what they are doing. We feel like our loved one is well taken care of. We would recommend this community to anyone.

The is a nice community for good care. I like the staff that is always helpful. They keep this community inside and out. The meals are appealing with a nice variety. They are helpful to special needs. They offer activities for her and she does like participating when possible. We would recommend this community for other families for the care for loved one.

Just recently I asked one of the aides to put my mom in some nice clothes so family could visit and she did a great job; my mother was all cleaned up. The care really is good, but when you go into the rooms, some of the furniture is broken, so maybe they just need to get some new chairs.

We toured this community while looking into respite care for a loved one. Silverleaf of Snellville seemed like a very nice place, although they did not have any openings at the time of our tour. The people here were very friendly, and very willing to work with us to accommodate our loved one's needs.

I think that overall the care is good, if my mother in law falls it is immediate help. The part I don't think is very well they only have one morning activity and just sit around until dinner time. They only have 5 days a week activity.

Very well impressed with Alison Reid. She seemed to know her stuff. Place seemed as large almost like a nursing home facility, otherwise all the information she gave me was very helpful, I will continue my search to have more comparisons.

It's great, they are fantastic. The building could use some updating and renovations. The carpeting could be replaced, or removed. I like it, they have a wonderful staff, they have been the best that I have encountered. They just want to help people, they don't judge them because of their problems. I am very happy with it.
