The last seven years of my life have been the best. Being single,, having some health issues , and after working in the retail world in New York City for the last 20 years, I decided I wanted live with older adults in an independent living community and found “The Piedmont at Buckhead!” I am one of the youngest at 77 years old and have found many older folks sharing my values and their life experiences! It is truly a gift ! I play Scrabble weekly and participate in monthly tournaments! The weekly Bingo Games are a lot of fun. Eating dinner with different residents regularly provide a time of sharing newsworthy events and personal stories with the residents!. Transportation is provided 6 days a week for regular Dr. & Dentist appointments. Weekly housekeeping is a plus which gives me time to read my “New York Times, and other items of interest! I count my blessings every day and look forward to spending many more days at The Piedmont at Buckhead!

I had a very nice tour awhile back and was looking at their invitation to Home for the Holidays, it reminded me how much I enjoyed my tour and lunch. Food was so good, nice linens, wait staff was very helpful with what she would recommend. I really enjoyed the setting of this community, the grounds are beautiful, I like to garden and be outside, especially enjoy walking. Love the lake you can walk around, and the fun dog park where I can talk my sweet [name removed]. Glad I made the right choice. 10/10 love my new friends and that includes that amazing staff!!!

I have now lived at The Piedmont at Buckhead for 7 years. Lived in Manhattan (NYC) for 20 years and before before retiring in 2015, I visited 5 Independent Living Communities in metropolitan Atlanta. My standards and expectations were high and without exception, The Piedmont at Buckhead, topped the list. I have not been disappointed!

we performed for the residents at the Chateau. The staff is wonderul and so are the guests. Friendly, loving, caring professional staff . The residents sang along with us and were living life to the fullest!

One lady had just turned 100, but honestly looked to be in her early 60's. It was a joy to share a day with them.

I'm quite impressed with La Vida. It was hard for my mom to make the decision to move out of the family home which she had lived in for 50-years. [Name removed] and the staff were always very accommodating with us dropping in to view available units and drop in for a meal or activity. It took a little over 6-months for my mom to finally make the move, and she just finished up her first week. So far so good! Pros: - [Name removed]! She helped at every step of the way. [Name removed] made sure my mom found a unit in which she could be very happy. [Name removed]'s personality and attitude are a huge selling point. Her enthusiasm for the community is infectious. - Restaurant. The meals are balanced and tasty. - Events. There is plenty to do for mom. - Residents. Everyone had been so nice, and welcoming. - Free HD thru DirecTV. - Movers. The movers ([Name removed] and [name removed]?) paid attention to detail, were very nice, understanding and sensitive to my moms wishes, and got everything there in one piece. One item was damaged BEFORE the move (by my kid a long time ago) and [name removed]? made sure to let us know before he wrapped it up. I really appreciated that. (sorry if I got [name removed]'s name wrong!) - Grounds are well kept. It's a smaller community, but the courtyard has two lively fountains, and the mature trees and green space is truly relaxing. - Recent remodel. They really freshened everything up. I love the design choices. My sister in law came for a visit and said it was like an 'upscale resort'. - Festive! They have put out some very festive fall decorations. Just makes you smile :-) Cons: - The Wifi is actually shared, and not private. We had to call Cox to get a dedicated line so we could use Vonage. Not a huge problem, but something to be aware of. It delayed us getting the phone setup for a few days. Had I know I could have had Cox out on the scheduled move date. No other cons that I can think of. Overall very happy! Thanks La Vida team!!

I toured this facility while looking for places for my Husband and I. The apartment they showed us was fantastic and I really liked how the rooms had a lot of soundproofing. The food here is excellent and they even have a lot of choices. This is the perfect community and they have a lot of activities like card games, board games, and trips to places around town. They also have a bus service to take you shopping if you don’t want to take your car. I would recommend this facility to other families.

This is a great home with alot of activity and energy. The staff are very nice. The dining room and menu also look good. Didn't get a chance to see residents as it was in the evening. The rooms are all private, with kitchenettes. It caters to independent living and assisted living.

My mother is doing very well since her move into Heritage Traditions. The food is outrageously good. The cafeteria at the Heritage is better than any restaurant in Surprise! Both the residents and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The community is close top my home, and it has been a good experience.

My parents had an amazing stay at The Village at Ocotillo! The staff were very nice and polite. Whenever my parents had a problem, the staff took care of it immediately! This facility also had great food; it housed a four star eating facility! My parents had quite a pleasant stay at The Village at Ocotillo!

My mom is doing really great. She loves the community. They have a special diet and they go out of their way to her. The community is clean and the staff is outstanding. She likes living here and everything here is perfect for her. We would recommend every aspect of this community to other families for the great care and the wonderful value.

Beautiful warm friendly staff very attentive. They are care accredited which is wonderful.

Helpful personnel, kind and caring with residents. Have bent over backwards to make my mother feel at home. All help is respectful and caring. We are very pleased.

We toured Villa Hermosa for my mother. Absolutely beautiful community. The staff and residents are very warm and friendly. I learned about their CARF accreditation - very impressive. My mom is on the wait list!

Super place to retire to and live an active, safe life with old and new friends. A wonderful staff of caring folks.

I feel we are all here because we need help and are very well taken care of by the staff. Not everything is perfect for everyone, but we all should enjoy what we can and Not Complain,.
