Springtime Home Assisted Living Facility

Both my mother and sister lived at this beautiful ALF until their passing and I have referred several others to them. I visited almost everyday as I lived in the community. I chose this facility out of many because of the superior care, cleanliness, activities done by professional activity personals that comes in and the staff. My aunt was fully ambulatory along with others. They have provided three cooked meals and snacks everyday. Had a good relationship with the other families and they have enjoyed the meals and care that their love ones receive. They are deficiency free according to the Office of Heath care quality. This is momentous for an ALF. This is a five star facility in my book and others.

My mom found a 1 bedroom that she really liked. This is definitely a strong possibility. It was clean and nice - Ron was very kind and really answered all of our questions. There aren’t as many people in this community so they can offer more one on one time to their residents - really get to know them very well.

The facility is professionally overseen by an experienced Registered Nurse with almost 30 years of experience and a board-certified physician. The facility is very clean, odor-free with all safety measures in place. Patients are allowed to age in place with lots of amenities. I love the activities and the staff.

Liked the fact that the owner is a registered nurse with more than 28 years of experience and have been operating six licensed facilities for more than 21 years. Staff with a wealth of knowledge in elderly care Last state review that is posted, shows that the facility is in compliance with all state and COMAR regulations. The facility is very lively with accented paintings. Clean and well lighted with adequate staff on duty. A medical doctor is also on call. All the residents were very happy and engaged in activities. Pricing was within our budget. Mom is having the time of her life!

I toured this facility with two of the staff members and was impressed with the cleanliness, attentiveness to the residents, and professionalism of the staff.

Liked it. Rooms are spacious, facility clean. Again, no pull cord or system for residents to notify need to assistance in bathroom or bedroom.

Nice for a semi bed/limited person that really appreciates quiet.

I wouldn't recommend this facility at all. There are other good assisted living homes in Bowie and people should shop for them to get satisfactory service for their money. We had to take our relative out of the place just after two months and put her in a much much better place for almost the same price.

For your money, you only get a roof over your head and a some meals. They do not supply anything. You have to buy and provide all personal supplies including depends, bed pads, creams, and even soap. I thought it was a nice community when we were touring places. The people seemed nice and helpful. But there are absolutely no activities of any kind and they want the residents to stay in wheelchairs and not walk. The food is small portions and not plentiful. It is a decent place but there are no activities and the service is not great.

Only saw the outside. Arrived at the facility for a tour at the appointed time but was told there was no vacancy.

Home crib appeal was nice. Caregiver onsite was not expecting us for the tour. Once inside immediately notice a room with clutter (later told it was the storage/laundry room). Home is 2 story, male residents on the 1st flr/female residents on the 2nd flr. Clean, residents are fed 3 meals per day, 2 caregivers (1) docter and nurse on call. Single and dbl occupancy rooms. Stairwell was of some concern, very narrow and steep with chair lift installed. Patio out back, but no sitting area out front. Residents may recieve mail, no planned outtings (families responsible to take family mbr out). Common area (2nd flr) was rather dark, more natural light in bebrooms.

Was not crazy about the common areas, size of room and runner rugs. Otherwise, it wasn't too bad. $2600/mo
