It is exceptionally clean. You would have to hunt even to find a speck of dust. When you walk in the door, you know right away that it is some place that is really like a home. My friend's wife is really pleased with how well he is being taken care of. They really pay attention to everything that is going on. when he got to Popa's Home he had a bad bed sore from the last place, and they were conscious about it he has improved. I would highly recommend. They a really caring operation.

I was quite please to have a 'walk thru' with my dad the first time I heard about them. Kettles is a VERY homey atmosphere, and you can watch how that Home Care home is all about the residents. My dad unfortunately did not choose this Home Care at first. In choosing this another care facility first, it more than AMPLIFIED how much Kettles was EXACTLY what he wanted. Once he KNEW after being in this other facility ONLY THREE DAYS that he wanted Kettles, the look of PEACE came upon his face. We moved him in to Kettles; he slept very well; he knew he was 'not another resident' or 'not another number'. In having a few challenges himself, he was taken care of right away....no waiting; no embarrassment. The personalized service CATERS to what the resident needs and wants. Its not about 'employees making a wage'. The owner of Kettles took care of me...making sure I was able to make a smooth move for my dad with no hassles. She stayed with me, as well as Kettles nurse! I so appreciated that! This being my first experience in dealing with senior care, I appreciate the knowledge to pass on to others. And in finding out my dad enjoys squirrels, the owner made sure that peanuts would be at the house for my dad to 'enjoy the squirrels'. :) The Kettles nurse is very thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. In assessing the residents, she finds facts that each resident likes, and passes on the information! For instance, in finding out my dad enjoys the newspaper, she brings hers in; in knowing my dad enjoys movies, she encouraged him to share his dvd's! The care is VERY REASONABLY cost! For all that you receive, for myself as well as my dad, the price AGAIN is all about the resident! They do not try to get 'blood out of a turnip'. I also appreciate the fact that they are a Medicaid Participant! I am now at peace; my dad is at peace. All is good!

have 2 ladies there right now and have room for a total of 5-7 shared room is 4000 and 4500 never raide the prices for the time she is there, Nurses have a 12 hr. shift. Use there furniture or use your own

It is so clean. Definitely a five. They are not physically not able to do activities, but that is not the fault of the community. They have been very cordial with us. If they have any questions they call us right away. The communication is just fantastic. It has taken a lot of pressure off of me by not having to take care of them. Both my mother and father-in-law live here, and they are in their nineties. Pop's Home has given us peace of mind. It is really working out.

Very nice faclity in a great setting. This could certainly be an option if my mother prefers a a private setting instead of a larger facility.

My representative was totally great. I was shocked at signing up with Kettle House that I was not told I got hit with a $3000.00 admitting fee; when I signed the contract and nothing was said prior to that time. You should be notified by some one of this fee ( which is totally very steep!!!) Sincerely, Alexis J. Asseff

It's been a couple of years since my family member was in this place but I do not recommend it. We thought it was nice as first for our family member with alzheimer's but it wasn't. They let her escape in the dark, had multiple stories about how it happened and didn't even know she was gone until the police brought her home. They mismanaged her meds so she became increasingly agitated. They had POOR communication with me on things regarding her. She had bruises that looked suspicious but they claimed were from things like running into the door jam. The employees would ask to borrow money and act as character reference for vehicle loans. Completely inappropriate. So happy we got our family member out of there and into a GREAT facility where she is thriving.

My ex mother in law spent a year at this facility. At first all seemed to be going well. In the past few months something has changed. Somehow MIL escaped and police found, and brought her back. The person working didn't even know she was gone! A couple months later she showed up with a bruise with a thumb print and skin tear on her upper arm. They said she ran into a door frame. I personally heard one of the employees scream and swear at a resident, at which time a filed a police report, and we are in the process of getting MIL into a better place.
