5 for all categories! [name removed] passed away only eight days after moving to Atrium. I have the highest regard for Atrium and regularly tell others about my positive experience under difficult circumstances. Very dedicated caregivers who have worked at Atrium for years.

Victoria Home-Montgomery Village took very good care of my mother. They were easy to work with. The home was always clean. Both caretakers were friendly, and I liked that they lived in the home. My mother would say the food wasn't great, but she always ate. They did have activities for their clients if they wanted to participate. As far as the value for the money. After seeing the cost of traditional nursing homes, I feel that my mother got so much better care being in a smaller environment, and every dime was worth it. I would highly recommend Victoria House Montgomery Village and group homes to nursing homes.

Atrium Kosher Home has great services as well as wonderful people. Our loved one passed on on [date removed] so we don't know of any recent activities, but they did regular daily activities with all residents. That took all to that Olney Theater one afternoon. Harvey enjoyed that.

[name removed] and her team good great care for my father for 3 years at the Atrium. They were very available to family to communicate on care, and placed importance on getting the residents to come together and be social for the good of their mental well-being. It was wonderful to find a smaller home such as this, with very personalized care, and dad could feel more like he was living in a house. Family members were invited for holidays and meals, too. I would highly recommend the Atrium and thank Devi and her team so much for what they did to care for our father at the end of his life.

Lovely, clean facility! Felt like a private home with warm, qualified staff to support your loved one. I highly recommend Atrium!

They've done an awesome job at Atrium Kosher Home so far, my Dad absolutely loves it here. The service has been excellent and very intimate, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. The administrator has been fantastic to work with.

I give Atrium 5 stars because my mother, Jean spent her last days here and I saw the excellent care given her. They are the kindest, most hands on caretakers I have seen. The Home in Silver Spring, MD., is beautiful, with 8 rooms and private baths, that feels like home. My mom loved the staff and her room. I love the way they gave her so much attention. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone with an aging family member. They will get the love and attention they deserve.

I would probably recommend to others but could be a lot cleaner. I picked this community, because it was close to my daughter so she could stop by when she was in that vicinity.

Devi was not there for the scheduled appointment. Her assistant said she had an emergency at her other home, but would be glad to give me the tour. I was really impressive with how clean and inviting the home is. It is also very spacious and decorated very nicely. There are no shared rooms, each resident has their own room. The rooms are nice and clean. The home I toured does not have any available vacancies, but the other homes do (I did not tour them). Her assistant called her while I was there and I spoke to her over the phone regarding pricing and was told that everything is included in a price of $4,000 per month, (room, meals, 24/7 supervision, etc.) which I thought was reasonable. I liked this home because everything is on one floor. There are no stairs. It is also not far from where I live.

The place is homely and not institutional. Still has the necessary support services. The staff is extremely friendly and caring and responsive to any and all family concerns.

Positives: nice neighborhood, good location, clean, bedrooms are a good size, owner is very personable and has been managing senior living homes for a number of years, good price, doctors brought on-site and medications delivered directly to house, caregivers seem friendly, and residents seem happy. Bathrooms are easily accessible for residents. Medications are kept secured (Grandma not able to self-medicate). Residents are bathed/cleaned up every morning. Cons: possible smoking areas?, owner does not live on the premises (but there are two caregivers at night), unsure if it's possible to get a TV in the bedroom, and did not see laundry room when I was there (although Devi mentioned that they do laundry there).

This is a nice facility with an eight bedroom capacity. I loved what I observed, but not sure it is the right place for my aunt.

The place was clean and saw some nice food being prepared. The week-end manager could not answer any financial questions but gave us a tour. We also spoke to a very committed CNA who appeared very dedicated. There were several vacant rooms with the nicest one with a bathroom on the lower level. Chair lift, generator, new kitchen. The home observes all Jewish holidays.

Atrium home in Burtonsville is my favorite. I would give it 4 or 5 stars. It is bright, sunny, and well kept. The 2 staff on duty were pleasant. The week-end manager, met us for both tours. I left a message for Devi to call the same day and no response yet. I hope to reach her early in the week to get all my information. The home can have 8 residents.

$4,500 all inclusive

I liked the set up: all on one floor. Could get down to basement with stair climber. Caretaker can view residents from kitchen. What I didn't like: kosher. We are not and it seems one pays a lot more for that, plus no dairy with meat etc.

This is not the type of place we are looking for, it is too small and I found these places a bit dark and depressing.... we did not feel comfortable

This was the fourth facility I toured; it was late in the day. The caregivers gave a good tour. I was not really impressed with either of the homes toured. The activity at the time of the tour was sitting watching television. The home residents did not appear "happy" to me. The homes seemed to lack color and light to me.

The owner tell staffs not to notify family members about injuries. Mostly carbohydrates served daily. Residents go from bed to chair and back to bed. Watching TV is the promo art and dominant activity.
