The staff in the memory care at St Martha’s has been the right place for mom! Since [date removed] she has made friends and all health aides are professional, thoughtful and very kind to my mom even dialing my mom’s cell phone so my two sisters and I long with our aunt my mom’s sister can talk with her weekly!!! I would recommend anyone needing a memory care unit for their mom or dad take a visit and speak with [name removed] or [name removed]!!

The atmosphere at St Mary’s is always upbeat and cheerful. Every staff member smiles, chats pleasantly with the residents and seem to truly care for them. It totally impresses me that the entire staff remembers every residents’ name. Everyone addresses my mother by her name and they know her likes and dislikes. There are so many activities for my mother to participate in. Her favorite are daily Mass at the beautiful chapel and music hour when different musicians visit to perform. I call my mother daily and she always answers the phone with a cheerful hello. She likes her meals and has made friends. She is happy. Placing my mother at St Mary’s was the best decision.

The staff try to engage my brother in activities and give him reminders when he dresses too warmly--this. Is really appreciated. Place is clean, caring staff, and good value for the money. They also have a family practitioner, dentist, and podiatrist that do visits on site.

Up front, I will share that we ended up going in a different direction. BUT I wanted to share that St. Mary’s is truly a home you can trust. The level of safety and personal relations is unmatched. [name removed] was our contact administrator. He went above and beyond to try to create a niche for our mom. While we could not find a pathway that included St. Mary’s , [name removed] was not without unending dedication to our case. If you want a Catholic community environment right in the heart of Lansdale, St. Mary’s is a good choice. The price point does reflect the rustic charm. The care, however, seems very good. There is a feeling of a “greater purpose” amongst the staff. And that is evident in [name removed] leadership. A huge bonus is a replica Roman chapel in the center of the building’s wings. It is absolutely stunning and spiritually rewarding to all who enter. What a gift to give to an elderly family member. Good luck on your journey to find a safe and caring place.

Generally, people seem happy there other than the food complaints which I've heard from many residents. The building has some maintenance issues but the staff is attentive and engaged when I present issues. They also call me with updates. I'm happy with the choice.

I had a very positive and supportive experience with St Mary's. I would definitely recommend. The price point is very reasonable considering the costs of other facilities in the area. It is a good value for the cost!

I definitely would recommend this facility to others. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. More times than not, my Mom does not care for the dinner provided, but I believe they are working to improve the meals.

The main reasons my client chose St. Mary Villas was because of the very nice staff and value for the money. Overall experience was very positive and the place and people are nice.

1. Overall experience (4.5) 2. Cleanliness (5 Excellent. Her room is clean and tidied, and her laundry is always clean.) 3. Friendliness of staff. (4.5 We have only had a single negative staff experience in 8 months.) 4. Quality of care.(5 Nursing pays attention to her. In particular, the evening nursing staff has been fantastic with her.) 5. Meals/Dining. (3.5 Not negative or positive.) 6. Activities.(5 My mom was not a "doer" before dementia and dementia has made her an even tougher sell to get involved. I would like to tell you though that my mom was an organist and pianist before dementia robbed her of those things and the admission person, [name removed], worked and got a piano placed on the unit to try and engage my mom and one of the nurses brought in sheet music from home. They really have tried.) 7. Value for Cost. (4...You know, care is expensive no matter what, and PA laws don't make it easy, but I still believed that St. Martha's was the best choice given my mom's financial circumstances.)

[name removed] l was absolutely wonderful to work with! [name removed], nurse manager is excellent. The rooms are kept clean. The staff is amazing! The care being given is excellent, but the meals could use some improvement . The activities during holiday season were fun and engaging. Value for cost is incredible care at reasonable price [name removed] at APFM was an angel too! Can't say enough good things about her help, support and guidance over the past year for my Dad!

I was very satisfied, and I would trust him being there. We picked this community because it is nice and clean.

The staff is wonderful. Very caring, kind, fun and efficient. My mother literally tells me every day how much she loves it at St Mary's. The facility is clean and not too large to get around. The chapel is beautiful, the landscaping is very well maintained. My mom loves to sit in the sun during the summer in the pretty courtyard. My mother enjoys the food and the dining room staff now knows what her likes and dislikes are. Makes it so easy.

[name removed] the gentleman who runs admissions. He's incredibly helpful and kind. Miss [name removed] the floor nice super caring. Love the loud music and piano playing and singing very lively more of a home feeling not a corporate feeling would highly recommend and ask for [name removed]

My loved one is currently a resident at St. Mary Villa and everything at this facility has been great for her so far. The facility is clean. The caregivers are good with the residents who need extra help like showering and dressing. The meals are average. The staff at this facility try their best. I would recommend St. Mary Villa to others.

When it comes to the activities, our loved one does not participate in any, but I think he would if the staff members made some kind of an announcement. The value for the cost is amazing. It is a clean, bright, vibrant place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have been a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, from the initial tour, application, move-in, and getting my mom settled. I definitely would recommend.

No place is perfect. We have faced a few bumps but all in all I can't find anything truly negative to say. They have good staff and great care. I find them to be very attentive to the families. They respond quickly to emails and address all concerns in a timely manner. They hosted a thanksgiving gathering and Christmas gathering for families of the residents and took time out to speak to us during the celebrations. They also call each resident by their names even the dinning staff make it a personal experience

Recently, my aunt relocated to St. Martha Villa. She previously shared an assisted living apartment with my parents at [removed]. Her caretaker is specially trained to interact with those who have dementia, and she prefers to relocate here to be with her family. Although she has a room of her own, she never uses it because she is always busy. She now participates in daily activities that she didn't do at her previous home. My aunt has flourished in this setting. Regarding her care, I am unconcerned. This facility also has a fantastic independent living facility and personal care unit.
