Ageway Senior Care

The care services have been excellent. My loved one seems to like the food. The value for the money is good, and I am satisfied. I am really happy with the communication, and they do a good job with, keep me well informed as it realtes to my loved one. It would be nice if they offered, wellness services for the residents to get COVID booster/flu shots.

It is a good boarding care for your elderly loved ones. The community is nice. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are good at explaining their answers and answering your questions or addressing your concerns.

The staff really know what they are doing and my mom likes it there. They want residents to be the way they are and medication is not needed. I have been very pleased and they are doing a good job. I don't worry about her anymore. I am really, really happy. It seems like she is getting a little better like talking a little more. They were able to discover a lot of her habits within the first day. They are not bothered by anything she does. I talk with them a lot and I am impressed. She is always clean and neat, they make sure she is eating her meals and she has been eating everything they make her and noticed that she likes certain textures of food.I also mention her feet needs to elevated and the next time I saw my mom, she was sitting in a recliner. They bought one for her, it shows me they are listening to my concerns.

The place is great. The community is really nice really clean. My dad is not crazy about the cooking. The staff is really nice and capable. It’s homey, not like an institutional setting, which is one of the things we really wanted. His room is nice. It’s a residential neighborhood, but there is parking. On the activities, my dad kind of does his own thing, but they’ll take you to the senior center if you like.

I'm very happy with Ageway. My mom has been there for a couple of years and I have seen an improvement in her health and disposition. The facility is very clean and the staff is good about keeping my mom changed and groomed. They also seem to be kind and caring. The owner/manager is attentive and responsive to my requests.

So far I think it's okay. It can be a little hard to communicate with some of the caregivers because of the language barrier. It is so clean, and it doesn't smell like urine, like so many of the places do. They take good care of him, he is always dressed and bathed, and clean, and the menu is good.

This board and care facility is a converted house in a very quiet neighborhood. The care givers take excellent care of my mom. She is one of 6 residents with 24 hour care giving staff. It is such a relief to know that my mom is safe and eating nourishing meals now that she is no longer able to care for herself.

After my tour with the nice and knowledgeable tour guide, I thought this is not the right level of care for my mom. The home seemed to be okay, not as clean as I would like, and it seemed to need some updates around the home. They appear to know how to provide care to meet the law requirements. This home would be okay for another family.

I would only recommend Ageway Boarding Care for your loved one if they could speak for themselves and comprehend what is going on. If you have a loved one that is bedridden I would not recommend this place at all. If you need this place for a minor set back in life due to a surgery and just need minimal help, I may consider it.

Very expensive with no explanation of what the added value was. The person I spoke with didn't seem interested in helping. no stars
