Castle Senior Living

My mother loved the place and she was very happy there. My mom liked that they brought a priest for mass. She liked the activities they had and food was good. I would recommend The Grand Hill Castle to other families.

Family care. Nice room. More expensive plus incontinent supplies plus bed alarm.

My mother had Alzheimer’s and lived at Cambridge Castle. The staff at Castle Senior Living was excellent. They were very compassionate and attentive to her needs. The small setting was ideal and I would recommend Castle Senior Living to everyone.

My father is a recent resident of Sienna Castle and is very happy there. From the first interview until his placement, I found the staff and caregivers to be kind, compassionate and extremely helpful. The home has a bright, cheery and warm atmosphere.

Nice and clean, staff very friendly. Had to go to there office on Layton and spoke to Kris. Nice young man would do business there

She is doing real well, to my surprise and satisfaction. All of our friends and relatives who visit comment on how much they like it and how happy she is. We have no complaints, great communications with them. It's clean and the staff is friendly, and any of the minor stuff that comes up gets addressed right away.

This place was very clean. Seemed like home. Cozy atmosphere. Staff was friendly. The rooms didn't have their own bathroom.

It is a lovely facility. They offers a lot of services. The staff provides good care. The staff in the memory care staff could use more training to help better engage the memory care residents.The layout is wonderful. The outdoor space could be larger and use a wider walking path.

Overall we're pleased with how things turned out with Sienne Castle! It's a nice looking place, the people are friendly, and the residents seem happy. Really my only complaint is that I feel like the oversold the amount of activities they do during the sales process. They've got a few, but not really enough to keep you entertained all day.

I am very impressed by this group home. The "family" living concept was interesting and had a very comfortable feel to it. I can see my mom here.

An older conversion, but well done. Tight on space but appears comfortable.

Nice rural setting. I wasn't impressed that the facility would be a good match for him. Some odor in the bathroom. Would have shared a room with another resident. Not ideal.

I always thought it was a great place, and I still do. Mom loved living there. The problem is my mother passed away two months ago and first they told me I don't get her security deposit back. I had to go up to the higher levels, then they told me I do get part of her security deposit back. Still waiting on it. It's the management that does not know what each one is doing. Sad but true. No matter what has occurred since mom's death, she absolutely loved living there and that was the most important thing for us kids.

I was not very impressed with my tour here. There were only 8 beds, it was a bit outdated and seemed rather dark. I just did not think that my mother would do well here.

Terrible facility. Don't send your parents there. The owners are only interested in making a buck. RN is a joke.

It is in my opinion, that any family or family member considering to place their loved one in one of Castle Home Care, Inc's facilities would be making a grave mistake. Finding a residence for your loved one is already a difficult and heartbreaking process, and it is in my opinion that you will suffer added and undue heartbreak and frustration should you place your loved one at one of Castle Home Care's residences. It is also in my opinion, that the proprietors of Castle Home Care do not possess a moral or ethical compass as they do not stand behind what they advertise in regards to the care and safety of their residents as observed first-hand while my mother was under their care and supervision: misappropriation/theft of residents property; misappropriation of medication; unadministered medication; caregivers refusal to administer medication; caregivers refusal to help and/or assist a resident; caregivers neglect of resident's basic needs and assistance; caregivers sleeping while on duty; high-turnover rate of caregivers; understaffing of caregivers; lack of food supplies & toilet products; residence not maintained in clean and sanitary manner as to not expose residents to communicable and/or infectious diseases; lack of leisure activities; and, have experienced first-hand the proprietors various forms of retaliation and harassment when my family aired genuine concerns and grievances in regards to the care of my mother. In my opinion and moral obligation, do yourself and your family a favor, and keep looking!
