Brethren Retirement Community

Our loved one was a resident at Mill Ridge Village Independent Living and the experience was great! Maintenance and lawn/snow was perfect. It's Independent Living, so food wasn't really applicable, but there were opportunities to purchase some prepared meals and special dinners that were all very good. It was an awesome experience for my loved one, we just wish we would have done it earlier.

[Name removed] answered all of our questions and provided the information we needed. He showed up two units and we liked one very much. However, the buyers of our house backed out of the deal. This facility would meet my needs and I would like to live there, but does not provide the services that my husband needs.

My loved one, really likes the food. We are impresse, and very happy with this facility. It's a good location. The staff does a wonderful job, and they keep us informed with everything. that is going on. They are taking care of, my loved ones health very well. My loved one seems to be very happy. They are very personable with the residents. The aides seem to love thier job, and mentioned tha they love to help people, and they ar not just there for a paycheck. Also, the receptionist is very nice when you walk in,

They're very good at keeping me updated. I don't think they have a whole lot of activities, but they are probably short staffed. For the most part, I have no complaints. I know they've lost sheets and stuff like that, but I can see how that could happen. She likes her room, it looks out over a pond and she is very happy with where she's at. My mother really enjoys the Brethren Home. She seems to really like the food and the staff. I would recommend Brethren Retirement Community to others.
