Honestly the cleanliness, activities, and cost comparison were the main reasons we chose Lafreniere. For someone who doesn't expect to have to pay for memory care, their price was amazing. For 2 yrs I was worried I'd never be able to put mom in memory care because of the pricing. They made it affordable. The staff are very friendly and engaging. Eager to always answer questions and help.

The staff at Holly Court really care about their residents. The residents often complain of being bored. the food is often served cold. I would recommend this facility to others.

Oakwood Village was warm and welcoming to my mom. The staff were upbeat and helpful during the transition. This includes the aides, nurses, and housekeeping staff. The residents are happy and very friendly. The overall atmosphere is great. Mom loves the food and the staff are very accommodating when she chooses to eat in her room at times. The activities are entertaining with routine outings available to the residents. Mom continually says that if you need to live in assisted living then this is the place to be.

I picked this community because of the price and, the experience has been good. I would recommend to others. The old people are a pain in the [word removed]

I would recommend HollyCourt as a new home ! Great customer service, friend environment & pet friendly ! Everyday activity so keep residents moving and active. You / Your love one would love it here .

Everybody was so helpful I love everything about the place very clean the food is always good just the best place to be my mom has been there for 2 years and she says it feels just like home and she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but Holly court

I love this place they have taken great care of my mom and always so cheerful when we visit she loves the activities & cheerful holiday decorations they always put out we love all the workers and food service I recommend anyone too bring there loved one here you will welcomed with open arms.

In general, our family's experience has been positive. They always welcome the family, Communication is always informative and timely. Our mother is in memory care and she is always clean and seems to be well taken care of. We have recommended this community to others and we will continue to recommend them to others.

I'm just going to make it easy and give them a 5 for all of the above. Carrington Place at Wytheville community was great, I never had any issues. Most of all, my mother was happy while she was there. That's all I could ask for.

Great caring staff, most meals are extra good, like at home cooking. Only complaint maybe failure to tell in a timely manner changes to usually or posted activities

My loved one is currently a resident at Holly Court Assisted Living and Memory Care. The experience at this facility has been great so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff and care services are good. The food and activities are also great. However, the price increase over the past three months is too much for people on a set income. My loved one may not be able to afford it.

The staff & residents are friendly & accommodating. Both my parents require higher levels of care & the staff checks on them often. [name removed] gave them a room situated next to the central lobby area so that staff can be close to them. It's a very pretty atrium area. Lafreniere is an older but very nice assisted living. It has been perfect for my parents. The price is reasonable & affordable. A Place For Mom has been a wonderful resource for us & I truly thank everyone for their help finding a place for mom & dad.

I give all a 5 stars but meals and dining on the memory car side, but the again most in there don't know what they are eating or if they eat . Very small portions and lots of bread and fillers staff was ever changing with new owners the place had trouble keeping staff. In business office Kudos to [name removed] and [name removed]. They did more than their jobs! The staff were super friendly always and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend the Holly Court Assisted Living community to other families.

My sister, who is in the memory care, component of the building. It is light an airy, with a giant bird cage in the center. She is in a nice apartment, she shares an apartment with another patient which has a kitchen and livingroom. It is a difficult situation, but with the economic cost of the facility, my sister will have enough money to pay for this excellent resources as long as needed. The director of the facility and staff are efficient and friendly. I thank them for their hard work and kindness

I recommend this facility to anyone with even high-functioning Independence parents and grand-parents. They can literally age-In Place here! It's great!

Excellent compassionate staff that truly cares about residents needs. Facility is always clean and food is superb. My mother has been a resident since 2015 and care and services are consistent, have exceeded our expectations.

Our Ceo and all workers are very kind and caring. Our meals are very good. I feel so appreciated for all the workers in the community.

It's not the most modern place but it's a good place my mom seems very happy. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families. It's a good place per my experience
