1-7 are fives for sure. I'd say item 8 is as well though I don't have a solid sense of what other places charge. We weren't happy with the quality of the first seven categories at other places. The staff are very friendly. And attentive. And they know the resident names and family members as well. The move-in folks are there to make the process as easy as possible. The day of could not have gone more smoothly. The apartments are open and airy. The bathroom is large with a zero-entry shower (this was a deal breaker for us at one place). The activities staff are there to engage the residents. I could go on and on. We are so thrilled.

Food is good but after awhile one looks for a difference. It is the same if you eat at the same restaurant all the time. Yes I would recommend Legacy Pointe to all

my wife and I have lived here for over a year now and we have made friends with other members and staff. The sales team has been wonderful in helping us move in and accommodate our needs. Nursing and dining has given us a great experience as well.

5 for all of the questions! It was a great decision to move here. It is very friendly. I would tell others looking that I found helpful to eat with residents without staff. Residents will be honest without being overheard. We have many different sizes of apartments. I have a two bedroom two bath apartment. There are one bedroom 1 1/2 bath apartments with a den, 3 bedroom. I think there are at least 9 different configurations. They all have full kitchens.

My mother chose another place to live, but had I made the choice, I would i have gone with the Providence of Fairfax. The building is stunning, the food was excellent and the staff clearly cares about its residents. It was by far the most impressive community we toured and was very welcoming.

We are very happy with The Providence Fairfax. They have new management since we moved my loved one in to the Memory Care floor last February. Many of the staff are the same and the food has improved.

After spending time trying to find a place for my Mother (and now my Father) we chose the Providence of Fairfax. My Mother has been here for 2+ years and still loves it. My Father has now joined her at Providence and has also been very happy. These are the things that they like the most: 1. Great management. Management has jumped through hoops for us when critical care issues arose and we needed solid solutions. I cannot express how happy we were with their skillsets and caring on what were very timely and delicate issues. 2. Excellent staff - from nurses, aids, kitchen staff, etc. all are helpful, caring and well trained. Many staff have been here 3+ years since the building opening. 3. Activities - 5-8 activities a day including: off-site trips, games, professor led discussions, art classes, workout activities, etc. 4. A new facility - great location, larger units, easy parking. 5. On-site restaurant with lots of good food options with long dining hours.

They provided very good care services for my loved one, except for communication. I sometimes felt that I didn't know who the contact person was when I had issues or questions concerning my loved one's well being. I think it would be helpful if The Providence could provide a list of contacts for each family so that they know who to call, when needed.

We were looking for a more suitable place for my mom and we found The Providence. I requested info through their website and got a call back very quickly from the sales coordinator. She was fantastic and we were able to coordinate a tour for the next day. Once I got to The Providence, I met with the Director of Sales. She was really awesome to work with throughout the process. She laid out all of the pricing tiers and gave me a tour. My mother was at [removed]. There is no comparison between these two assisted living facilities. The Providence has sunlight everywhere. The 1st floor has floor to ceiling windows all around, very nice gathering areas and looks like a 5 star hotel. I moved mom into the memory care floor last weekend. I have been impressed with the staff whoa re always looking to engage the residents in activities. The outdoor patio area is beautiful and I am sure is used frequently when the weather is nice. Thank you everyone at the Providence!

Overall, I would definitely recommend The Providence Fairfax to others. The staff is great, for the most part. The night nurses need a bit more training. The facility is not versed in using TriCare for prescriptions. They push using their pharmacy, but that costs more. They just need a little more training. They could improve the variety of activities. The move in process went well. The food, to me, is just ok. But other people like it. The prices for the food for visitors is expensive for what is served. My loved one is really doing quite well there and enjoys living there.

The Providence Fairfax is an extra ordinary retirement community that offers an abundance of unique activities, in an aesthetically exquisite environment where residents are encouraged to be active, social and enjoy their retirement years. The Providence Fairfax has multiple restaurants that can please any pallet. Most of all, this communities leadership with the current Executive Director at the helm demonstrates a genuine compassion and care for all it's members. I'm so grateful that my nearest and dearest friend lives at The Providence Fairfax. Don't overlook this community when searching for a retirement community. It's a true gem!!

Nice new place. Somewhat disorganized. Seems to take telling multiple people the same thing before things are accomplished. Package was shipped to resident. Someone signed for it. Missing package delivery still has not been located. Paying a lot of money. Not sure if there is value other than knowing someone checks in a few times a day.

The food could be improved. There is only one actual registered nurse on duty for the entire facility. There are medical techs that give medications. There are some language/communication issues. We had to really push to not use their insurance for medications. But overall, my mother in law loves living there. The place looks like a modern hotel. She has made friends and is happy there. There are just a few things that could be improved.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Landing at Alexandria and the overall experience has been good so far. They transitioned to a new management company early on. There were some issues in the beginning, but it is getting better. The meals are very good. The move in process was easy. Communication with the family could improve. Overall, I would highly recommend The Landing at Alexandria to others.

A well appointed facility with a competent staff. As with all food service facilities, they struggle to keep sufficient staff, Te overall staff are positive and strive to provide good service. Recent staff upgrades have resulted in improved services.

We picked this community because it allows all the residents to live with dignity. It doesn't look like an assisted living nor memory care. The modern feel makes you feel as though you're living in a hotel. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They treat all residents with respect. There are plenty of activities or clubs to join if you choose. The staff makes all the residents feel seen, and at home.
