We had a great tour experience with Sharon Care Center. The main reasons we did not choose this facility was because they did not have the bigger apartment available right away when we needed it. The facility was also older, yet it costed nearly as much as the updated ones that we visited.

Our loved one was a resident at McKenzie Manor for a couple of weeks. We had no one at home to take care of her while we were on vacation, so we had to put her in a facility. I feel the Value for Cost was a little high since she was only in there for a couple of weeks. But the peace of mind, knowing that she was being loved and taken care of, was worth rating it at a 5.

My mother lived at Moran Vista for 8 months and I am very grateful for the wonderful care she received there. I visited often and regularly saw how all staff (medtechs/caregivers to office personnel to dining room servers to maintenance to housekeeping) treated Mom and the other residents with kindness, dignity, respect, patience, and gentle humor. I felt free to come to them with questions or concerns and they immediately responded with compassion and satisfactory answers. They often went above and beyond to make sure my mom was included and involved, always greeted her warmly in the hallways, and never showed impatience as her Dementia advanced. Their monthly calendar is filled with fun and engaging activities for the residents and there is a beautiful library on site that Mom enjoyed visiting. My heart is very grateful for my mom’s time there.

My mom received good care at Brighton Court. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And I thought the facility was very nice.

The staff gave off a great first impression they have been so warm and caring to our loved one and family. The dining experience from what we can see looks great and our loved one says the food is good. For the value its great because he gets a lot for the money and based on our experience we would recommend Applewood Retirement them to other families.

My mother is the second parent to have resided at Bridgecreek Memory Care. These caregivers could Not have taken better care of our parents. Not only are they gently and attentive; they are Truly loving. I cannot Thank All of you enough - from management, caregivers, cooks, custodians TO maintenance workers. THANK YOU ALL

They take good care of my loved one. They always call me and let me know if anything is going on. I've been happy with where she's at.

The meals and dining service is great here, I am eating healthier then every before - they are very good about serving us healthy well balanced nutritious meals. I would definitely recommend this community to other families who are looking for a community for themselves or their loved ones

Our experience at this facility was wonderful. The staff from administartion, nursing, caregivers and dining was top notch. The proximity to medical and dental care was perfect. Knowing he was well cared for, relieved so much stress for us. We would highly recommend this faciltiy.

This is a small scale facility but in a lot of ways that's what makes it great. You get more personalized attention and get to know whos taking care of you as well as your fellow "house mates". Things are a bit crazy with covid so things seem to change a lot but they definitely make you feel like they take this situation seriously.

He has had no complaints so far. I really like that they are very cautious about the omicron outbreak, they put the facility into lockdown for a couple of weeks to keep residents safe. They did allow medical professionals to go in to see my loved one. I felt comfortable that my brother was safe and being well taken care of and I would recommend to others.

We really liked Firwood Gardens and had a great tour, but they were not able to do a 2 person assist which is something my mom needed.

I visit often, and my loved one is always clean and well taken care of. Her room is clean, and the facility is spotless. The people who take are of her are absolutely delightful. They call me with anything and everything. Sometimes the apologize for calling, but I tell them how much I appreciate hearing from them. When I'm sitting there with my loved one, they ask if we need anything. They are just absolutely delightful. They seem to know what they're doing and are very good at their jobs. They're young people, but I never get the feeling they're there just doing a job. They're very compassionate with the residents, even in difficult situations. They absolutely work it out and are patient beyond belief. They have really good people there. I wholeheartedly recommend them. The medical staff have in-person sit-downs with me to talk about my loved one's medical care, and they call me as well with updates, asking if there's anything I think she needs, or they'll bring up issues that they've noticed. They're constantly tweaking her care as often as needed. They make sure her prescriptions are refilled. They are really on top of all of her medications, and I've had no problems with her care. It's been superb. The Covid situation has probably caused a little stress on the employees, but overall the staff have been great. The food looks good, and It's very well balanced. They've been very good about cutting it up into small pieces so she doesn't choke. My loved one has no complaints and is actually eating and gaining weight back that she had lost before. They have a wonderful activities director. When I'm there, she'll ask me if I need anything. My loved one has done arts and crafts, and they're very patient with her with her physical limitations. But they're still engaging her in activities, and they'll sit and read to her, which is very nice. They do lots of crafts, and I see those hanging outside my loved one's door. I'm thrilled that they're patient enough to involve her even with her physical limitations. That was not the case at another facility she was at previously. I think they're doing a great job and treating her very well. I think the cost is appropriate, and she gets what she pays for. She's well taken care of, they engage her in activities, and I have absolutely no complaints. They're more reasonable than where she was before, and I felt like she got absolutely nothing there. So I've been very pleased. When you walk in, they're are all so friendly. They speak to you on a first name basis and are so helpful. I think it's a great facility.

I love the vibe of the community. It's friendly and they are on top of your needs, It's a good value for your money, and they offer quality care. I would recommend this community to others

Shasta is a nice place to live. Everyone is friendly, the building is well kept up, food is very good.

My parents moved to Moran Vista about 6 months ago, Dad in the memory care unit, Mom in an independent living apartment. I have been very pleased with the facility and the care shown for not only my folks, but also myself when I have questions or concerns. [Name removed] the Executive Director and [name removed] the Director of Health Services were quick to make adjustments when my Mom's care needs unexpectedly and temporarily changed. The staff is excellent at keeping me informed of any status changes, and accommodating my desire to remain closely involved in the care of my parents. Although my folks can no longer live "together" they are still able to visit and enjoy meals with each other on a daily basis, which has been invaluable for my dad and his dementia. The care staff are all kind, compassionate, and cheerful with a seemingly genuine desire to make Moran Vista a nice place to call home!

I am very positive about The Amber assisted living. The new management is great - very conscientious about doing a great job and ensuring everything runs well and residents are well cared for. The staff are extraordinary - very caring and friendly towards the residents there. It's not just for show, either - I've walked through the facility on off-hours to visit relatives and have seen caregivers sitting and speaking with residents, holding their hands and bringing them comfort. This to me is what assisted living is truly about and I am so thankful that The Amber is where some of our family has decided to live now that they need extra help. There is always something going on there like bingo or pedicures or folks gather in the group area to talk or play piano or just sit and relax. If you're looking for a safe place for family members who need extra care, where the staff are attentive and kind and the food is pretty darn good - then check out The Amber.

They have taken good care of my wife while she recovers. The people are nice.
