Grateful to have found Windhaven.

All the office staff is very helpful. The Executive Director has also been of great help. She has helped us with difficult decisions we have had to make. The caregivers are all great. They all have a great attitude and take great care of our dad. We are very pleased that we found Windhaven. It's a clean and have no intention of looking for any other place.

A Home Away From Home

My family member recently moved into Windhaven senior living. From the very beginning, the residents and staff welcomed our loved one with open arms and treated them not just as a resident, but as a cherished family member. They interacted with residents not just as clients, but as individuals with unique stories and needs. We are thoroughly impressed by their "Spark program". The range of the activities and programs available has brought a new sense of joy and purpose to our loved one's life. It warms our heart to see them engaging in various activities, committees and forming connections with fellow residents. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed. It is a cottage to cottage style in a gated community. It creates an environment that is both safe and intimate. Their high quality care and support have made this transition a positive and joyful experience. I highly recommend considering this senior living facility.

A Loving New Home for My Mother-in-law

Sending my wife's mom to Windhaven Senior Living was a tough decision a few months ago, but it has turned out to be a truly positive and wonderful experience for her. I think to highlight here: Windhaven's unique Spark program has made all the difference for her. Windhaven Senior Living is considered a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care property, and is relatively new, having been recently constructed. We've been pleasantly surprised that, after over four months, they have succeeded in creating a warm and family-like environment that met our expectations. One remarkable aspect that my mother-in-law particularly appreciates is the Spark program. This program is all about providing seniors with real-life experiences. She absolutely loves the cooking classes, and they have been fantastic in keeping her engaged, both mentally and physically. Witnessing her happiness and her positive sense of community here warms our hearts. The staff here is exceptionally caring and deeply involved.

Tour experience

We had a good tour experience with Windhaven Senior Living. The reason we did not choose them was because they did not have the flexibility for pureed food, somewhat older facility, and distance to my house. Decent pricing though and exceptionally helpful and kind management.

Highly recommend!

My dad was actually the first client to move in. He has been there about 6 weeks and this place has been nothing short of a huge blessing to my family. The caregivers have been so very attentive and loving and patient with my father. He has very good supervision and he really loves the people that work with him. The executive director is a very kind man who has helped tremendously with my dad getting adjusted to his new place. The communication is very good and we always know if my dad has a change in condition. My dad loves the food and we are always welcome to visit whenever we want to come.

My tour at The Crossings at Flower Mound was great - I thought it was a really nice place. It was just at a considerable distance away from where I live, but If I lived in that area, I probably would have chosen them.

Highly recommend

They staff have really good communication with family, they try to include residents in activities. The one aspect that I think is so important is that as my partners memory gets worse, he stays in the same room and will not be transferred to memory care.

We are very happy with our loved one being here - we highly recommend

We hit a real home run with this community and we are so happy our loved one is here. Right when we met the staff on the tour we could tell they had a certain level of professionalism to them. They are highly trained when it comes to different levels of Alzheimer's and Dementia, they are very patient with the residents and understanding. We always see the cleaning lady working on the rooms and she does a very good job we are happy with it. They have painting classes that our loved one really enjoys, we always get pictures of her paintings and other things she is doing. They also bring in musician's to perform for the resident's. They just have outstanding levels of care, professionalism, and keep the community well maintained.

The crossings has been a Godsend. The sales person and staff welcomed me from the moment I called them and have walked side by side with me through the process of getting moved. No other facility showed interest with helping me through the process besides The Crossings. We had multiple contacts a day and still daily since she moved in, Incredible.

Caring Like Family

You can feel comfortable knowing your loved one is being cared at anytime. They went above and beyond especially during COVID. The staff is very caring and cooperative. The food has been very good for my loved one. Some of the activities include: arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, and more for the residents to choose from. The community has a web page and they feature some of their residents on this site.

Loving Care

I moved my sister, [name removed], who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, to this facility 8 months ago. The staff and caregivers are amazing. They all treat my sister with love and care as they genuinely understand the intricacies of Alzheimer’s disease and how it affects our loved ones. I encourage anyone who is in need of a home for their loved one who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease to check out this home.

I would recommend. Loved the community and the people, they took great care of my FIL

We chose Windhaven Senior Living at the time because of the newness, the high ratings it had, and I cannot say enough great things about the owner here from the day we met him. My father in laws room size here was very good and spacious. He said the food was excellent. The best part about this community was the management staff, they were very kind, knowledgeable, and they tried their best. I would absolutely recommend.

Just Like Home

Mother lived at home for several years after Daddy died. Things got to be too much for her so she sold their home place and moved to independent living. After she was diagnosed with COPD we moved her to assisted living at the same facility. Then came another hospitalization and skilled nursing and rehab. We didn't know where to go next. We finally found a "home" for Mother. Autumn Grove Cottage is like one big family and offers competent, loving care. We truly feel like God led us here.
