Deer Meadows Operating II, LLC

My loved one was previously a resident at Legacy Gardens of Bristol and overall the experience was very good. The staff, care services and friendliness were great. The cleanliness was good and the activities were okay. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

The facility feels like a home it doesn't feel like a hospital or a facility. Right when you walk in and there's a fireplace and a living room area and then there's an open kitchen area where you dine and they do activities. Then there's also other spaces that feels like a second living room with a TV and a place to hang out, and then you have your room and you have a bathroom in your room so you feel like you have some privacy. They also have a Saturday appointments for hair so you can get that done without having to leave the facility so those are some of the things that we really like. I guess I would have to see if there's something that I would want them to improve upon - the improvement could be the use of technology. You still have to pay your monthly rent via check or mail it in there's no website or any way in which to communicate via electronically which I think sometimes that helps if you can do that. We also like that it's small I believe there's only 28 beds so that also is important to us. You feel like everybody gets to know one another and it builds a community.

My loved one enjoyed the food and activities. This is a community I highly recommend to others for their loved ones. The staff communication was wonderful with the family when we had questions. In fact the staff were very proactive with their communication to the family about our loved one. There were three meals and snacks provided to the residents daily.

Deer Meadows Retirement Community is reasonably priced, and they care about their patients.

What sticks out about Deer Meadows retirement is they really care about their residents. [name removed] was very helpful getting started and [name removed] was very helpful when we talked to him about how sad she was and how she was having trouble adjusting. He came up right away to talk to Mom. Changed her table so she had people to sit with at meals and makes sure she is going to activities.

The community is neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Communication between the staff and the family is very, they keep us updated daily. I would highly recommend this community to others

Deer Meadows is a wonderful community. The people there really care. The food is really good, and my loved one loves it. Some of the activities include trivia and, along with others for the residents to choose from. My loved one's apartment is wonderful.

We have only seen a little bit of this community so far due COVID, but staff members have been really good and helpful especially during this time. Their communication has been great, first they were sending us emails about what is going on weekly, and now it is bi-weekly. From our understanding our loved one is being well taken care of. The helpfulness really stood out to us, and one of the main reason our loved one chose this place, was because it is more of the independent style of living, and they don't have to move if they started to need more care, the care services come to them.

Very welcoming. Clean, friendly staff. Moving my mom to the community.

5+ months of living here with a lot of good experiences. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Deer Meadows is a beautiful environment the staff is amazing my grandmother loves it she said it feels like family, and the food ! Delicious, and did I mention quiet and peaceful like a summer breeze.

Wonderful retirement Community

Clean, well lit, friendly staff and residents, nice size rooms, full calendar of events, answered all questions, easily accessible.

Everything has been just wonderful so far. Mom and dad are adjusting still, but dad has tried to get more active. They enjoy the dining because they get a chance to mingle. The food is good as well. The community and mom and dads apartment is always clean.

My brother has really been enjoying his stay at this facility, they offer a great activity program and serve three delicious meals a day. He has also really been enjoying the company of the other residents, they have all been so friendly and welcoming to him since he moved in. I am very pleased with the care he has received and would defiantly recommend this community.

My mom is doing fine. The staff do all they are suppose to for my mom. She has been doing bingo and ceramics plus more. They serve 3 meals a day, they bring breakfast to her room and she likes the meals. She is enjoying her community.

It was a positive experience. I never heard any complaints about the food. I don't see where there could be any improvement. It was close to home and quiet and it was overall a pleasant experience.
