The people at Rosewood Courte Memory Care Community did a really good job overall. The daycare service (getting my mom in there and taking care of her) was very good. I really like the layout of the facility. It is very well made for seniors with Alzheimer that like to wander around. They have been very informative and engaging.

My parents spent the last four plus years of their lives at Liberty Shores Assisted Living Community in Poulsbo and our experience could not have been more superb. Not only could they enjoy the stunning views of Liberty Bay and Mount Rainier from their living room, the staff support was amazing, caring, comprehensive and of the highest quality. My Mom was suffering from endstage diabetes and most of the challenges associated with the illness. Liberty Shores' nurses were the best and treated my parents as they were their own loved ones. The Administrator (at the community for the past 16 years) and Director of Nursing (been their 7 plus years as well) have assembled a most wonderful team of professional and caring staff, which set this community above any other senior care provider. Thank, thank you for coming into our lives and giving our parents such a gratifying experience!

This is a wonderful facility. They really do work each individual and guide them to doing things they’re interested in to keep their minds and bodies working which is so important. My mother is very picky and she likes the food. She likes the staff. They are more experienced with memory care and help people stay busy. There are activities from nine am to seven pm. The staff coaxes people out of their rooms.

Absolutely the best site. Great design, great staff, Patrick represented the program well. The only reason we did not select this one was high cost over timke (desp[ite a $5K special the first year.

We appreciate and love the friendly atmosphere and care my mom receives. Only concern is my mom is vv....c. independent and social so sometimes does not have this need met with conversations at Liberty Shores.

I toured Liberty Shores Senior Living and the tour itself was good, the facility was good. However, I didn't like their pricing structure. Also, the lady who gave me the tour couldn't seem to remember me when I called back after my tour.

We had a great tour experience with Liberty shores. The facility was nice and so were the staff, but the building was older and not as updated as we were hoping.

When we came to tour Liberty Shores their basement had just flooded, so they were about to start renovating and making some needed updates. The gal that was showing me around was very nice and helpful - but she was kind of gossipy which I found unprofessional.

While Dungeness Courte is the best memory care facility in Sequim, it leaves much to be desired. My family observed several incidents that compromised the safety, health, and dignity of my mom and other residents. We brought our complaints formally to local management twice, and after much head nodding and soothing assurances, conditions would improve temporarily however mom's care soon fell into the same negligent patterns. Many CNAs and nurses there are fantastic but often they are not provided the tools (like appropriate staffing levels) to complete their tasks with the professionalism and compassion they are capable of. If you decided to transition a loved one into Dungeness Courte, here are some tips: Visit often, unannounced, and at different times of day. Take notes of things you observe and see if there is a pattern. Bring your concerns, in writing, to the Director and Head nurse. If this does not resolve your concerns, consider contacting corporate or the state if needed. The price charged, and the literature provided by Dungeness Courte, suggests that expectations will be exceeded -- hold them to that.
