1-6: I give a 5+ (#4 doesn't really apply I don't think, as we are independent). This is a phenomenal residence. The Resident Services & Maintenance staff are top notch. They are really focused on us. We have more than enough to keep us busy with activities. As far as #7: I know this is out of your control because it's a corporate issue but we are in the middle of our 3rd year & truly hope that when our lease comes up that we won't get another 8% rent increase as we did in our first 2 years. Our neighbors welcomed us from day 1. Everyone has their own personality & we find that's what makes them so special!! Have a great day & very special thanks to your organization

I have had great service from the beginning contact with Birchwood Highlands. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments are so nice. There are several layouts available. People are friendly and there are an abundance of activities to choose from. I would highly recommend looking at Birchwood.

We have a beautiful campus, with 14, 2 story buildings and a paved walking path around the campus. We have 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom or 2 bathrooms and we have 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms plus a den with a fireplace.

My aunt is very happy with her apartment and is getting to know her neighbors. I get joyful reports each week on her bingo and polish poker winnings. She is a dog owner and location has been fantastic. She goes just outside her patio. I would like to thank your team for the initial information and appt. My aunts move was quite a lot involved. The staff was so kind in letting me pre tour, take photos that help her decision. Move in day was smooth and staff helped reduce the stress for an elderly person making such a transition.

This is an independent living so no food or care given. A good portion of the activities are tenant generated but there are still a few activities provided by the company. It's a nice friendly place to live. You get out of it what you put into it. Some people participate in many of the activities and others you never see.

Great place. Lots of friendly people. We picked this community because it was clean, well maintained, accessible and well organized.

I don't have much direct contact with staff to comment. My parents seem happy and well adjusted. They have made friends and have many activities from which to select. The few minor issues were resolved quickly. The covered, heated parking structure is a big benefit for the winter months.

5 stars or higher! Highlands at Wildwood Lake is a beautiful well maintained independent apartment complex for those over 55. I have no complaints and no criticism. There are no meals provided. There is no care given. Both staff and residents organize fun and diverse activities to meet the interests of residents. There are offerings several times a week

I would give them a 10. Highlands at Wildwood "Lake" is wonderful. I could never live in another place. These apartments are big and the entire building is very clean. I have 2bed/2bath. Master bedroom is so large you could put 2 queen beds in it and the closet is huge. Lots of storage. The staff is wonderful and they have a lot of things to do. They have resident ambassadors who help out with everything. I love it here!

I love the people, but the indoor parking facility is very cramped.

I am currently a resident at Brookfield Highlands Apartments and everything has been great for me here. Everything is very clean and all of the staff are friendly. I would recommend Brookfield Highlands Apartments to others.

I am currently a resident at Parkwood Highlands. This is an Independent Senior complex. Most of the activities are resident generated. There are 1-2 owner activities per month. As for value, repairs/maintenance are done very well however, the appliances are very basic, loud and don't work all that well (dishwasher). All of the units are painted yellow, including the ceilings which make it very dark and cave-like. I like it here, the residents are very nice. But I feel that for what I am paying each month, I would expect better quality in the amenities. There is no food service at all. The common room is spacious and has a small kitchen for anyone to use for private parties. There is even a small apartment set aside for overnight guests. I would recommend Parkwood Highlands for an Independent Senior. Each building has an ambassador who will orient the new resident, show them around etc.

What I like the most about the Parkwood Highlands Apartments is the friendliness of the staff members as well as the residents there. I would recommend this community to other families based on my experience so far.

I live at Foresthill Highlands Apartments in Independent Living. Overall, I like my apartment building. It is clean and quiet. The amenities in my apartment are low grade, but functional. I do not like the appliances: the refrigerator sings at times and I don't use the dishwasher as it does not clean very well. Also, the sliding door for the closet in my bedroom is very hard to open/close. The indoor parking, hot water, and common areas are very good. My limited experience with the staff has been good.

I have actually told everyone I know if they ever need a facility like Birchwood for a parent or themselves I would definitely recommend it. After my tour it seemed like exactly what my mom was looking for. And the location to my home was key as well.

What I really like about Highlands at Mahler Park is that the area is close by other stories and the residents and staff members are very friendly. Based on my experience so far I would recommend this community to other families.

They have been extraordinarily wonderful to me. The staff is very good and happy to assist you. I really appreciate and enjoy the people who live here.

The process to get an apartment is excruciating and probably violates the Fair Housing Act. The staff is attentive, and the facility is great. The units are spacious and well maintained. There are welcome activities to help new residents get to know the facility and other residents.
