Avendelle was wonderful. They took terrific care of my husband. They checked on him all the time, as well as turned him and changed him to prevent sores. I cannot say enough wonderful things about [name removed] and her staff. They took my husband who had Lewy Body disease when no other facility would give him a chance. Avendelle could not have been better regarding his care!

I love this location. It is close to my home and the staff is great! My dad gets good care here. The new hire is amazing. It is difficult to find dedicated, hardworking, and attentive staff. We are very pleased and comfortable with them taking care of our loved one.

We ultimately chose Avendelle Assisted Living because dad was able to get his own private room here. We love it and everything has worked out great.

They took her in and loved her and treated my friend like family. The house looks nice and they treat you like family. The communication is great, they give us updates and contact us when anything is needed. I would recommend this community to others.

Words cannot express the calm, peace and appreciation I have for the staff and Avendelle organization. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a place for their parents or any family member. My dad suffers with memory issues, so having staff who understand and are open to learn how to manage him has been such a relief. I am a nurse so I tend to be very picky and have high expectations. Avendelle has set the bar high, and I appreciate everything they are doing for my dad. Its a home, not a facility. It has been a blessing for me and my family, to find Avendelle. We wish we had known about them several years ago.

Avendelle Assisted Living is a Family Care Home setting with 6 residents and my father has only been there a month. I was concerned because it was a small setting and but my dad seems to be fitting in well. The staff is very nice and appear to care about my father. Dad likes the meals and the staff has told me that he is eating well, he likes the variety. My dad is in very good spirits. This has been an amazing experience for me and I would recommend Avendelle to both friends and family. There are activities but my dad prefers to read his paper and watch TV. Right now there are 5 ladies and my dad so the activities really don't interest him at this time. The staff ratio for patients is excellent with a 3 to 1 so I know my dad is well looked after.

My mother's stay at Avendelle is going delightfully! I am very satisfied with her care! She says the the food is delicious, and there are many activities offered for her to participate in! This is a wonderful facility!

I liked that Avendelle is a residential care home and it was so close to my home. The gentleman who showed us the home was so nice. The way they had it set up is very accommodating to handicapped accessibility. The reason we did not choose it is the cost was too high.

I am happy with the community. This is a smaller community and she is enjoying the activities with the other residents due to feeling at home. The meals are home cooked and very good. The community is very clean and we would recommend other families for care of a loved one.

My Mom had lived in a big box facility for over a year and we became increasingly frustrated at the level of care and lack of communication. Her last fall, which resulted in a broken arm, was the last straw. I found out about Avendelle through A Place for Mom and was please to find out they just built one up the road from me! She's been there 2 weeks and we could not be more please. The staff is wonderful and caring. The staff-resident ratio is awesome. Mom is now thriving and doing activities she refused at the other place. She's more social. The food is home cooked and nutritious. The doctor is always available by email if I have any questions and gets back to me promptly. As a nurse, and my parents caregiver for 4 years prior, I am very pleased.... and more relaxed than I have been in a long time.

I am happy with the care that my mother is getting from is outstanding community. This is a home feeling environment with very caring staff members that are always friendly and helpful to here needs. She is really like the variety of the meals. She is participating in activities with the other residents. We would recommend the care and the value of this good community to other families

So far there are not many residents living here yet, however my dad is getting high level care and attention. The community is kept clean and smells good from what I have seen. My dad is using feeding tubes so he is unable to enjoy the meals. He is going to Physical Therapy and enjoys the activities and hobbies. For the most part the staff are very friendly and helpful. I can get answers from the staff when I have questions. If they are unsure about anything they call me to get a clear understanding. I like the open communication and it has been good both ways. A Place For Mom was helpful at giving me a good referral.

We are very pleased with this care home and everything they have done for us. My brother in law has adjusted very well to, he is pleased. The home is very well maintained, every time I visit his room and the house is nice and tidy. They have a very good staff here, they are very professional and helpful. There are nice activities offered. He is very satisfied with the food. We know he is in good hands and being cared for well. This is a care home I would recommend.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at The Haven at Fuquay, they're taking great care of my loved one! They've been very accommodating, any care need or request that we've had they've been more than happy to take care of! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and everyone is very friendly!

When I went for my initial tour, I was greeted as if I'd just come back from a trip. Everyone was extremely welcoming, courteous and polite. The community seemed to be well maintained. The atmosphere was very homey. I felt that my relative would be well cared for here.
