This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as provider must ensure that the resident and the resident’s representative, if any, are informed of the potential consequences of activities that the provider considers to pose risks to health and/or safety, A comprehensive assessment, evaluation of a prospective resident’s physical condition, and evaluation of a prospective resident’s cognitive condition. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include reading the medication label to residents, only a licensed health care professionall employed by the community may administer medications, and documenting whether or not the resident took the medication. There is a maximum occupancy of 1 residents per room. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. There must be one toilet for every 1 residents and one bath or shower for every residents. The minimum number of residents for this community type is 3. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals.
