These include medication reminders, supervision of self-administered medications, laundry, and assistance with activities of daily living. Staff members receive education in a number of fields. These areas include reporting, abuse, internal policies, and job responsibilities and limitations. In total, there can be no more than 1 residents to a room. There must be one bath or shower for every residents and one toilet for every 1 residents. The minimum number of residents for this community type is 3. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include only a licensed health care professionall employed by the community may administer medications, reading the medication label to residents, and observing the resident. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals.
