I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so. They are friendly and care about their residents. It was bright and clean and didn't have a fragrance about it. We liked the bright open spaces with tall ceilings. Made it have a cheery feel

Under new ownership this facility is NOT a place you would want your loved one to stay. 3 separate time the exterior doors were left OPEN with no one at the front desk. I have advised management that if it happens again I will call local police for a premises report. Management is rudderless and we employees changing like normal people change their socks. Now the social activities person just left and assisted patrons have no one to help. Keep this place in your real view mirrors. Under the prior ownership living here was enjoyable now it’s a challenge. While no place might be perfect this facility has no leadership. It’s no wonder they can’t come close to filling its empty rooms. Food quality is not good but it has nothing to do with the chef. He tried to do what’s right. My mother was here for years and now my mother in law but that was because of prior ownership. There are other facilities close by that are much better for your loved one. Met with mgmt and it was deaf ears.

We chose New Perspective Long Grove because they were able to accommodate the level of care she needed in memory care and they were able to take her quickly. The facility is very clean and when we went to tour we felt more comfortable here. It is very bright and cheerful. I love the communication I get from the staff. The nursing staff is there 24/7 and there is a phone number that I have that they know and they can call. I would recommend this facility to others.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff members were very nice but the facility itself felt more like a hospital and was dreary. I don't think we would of wanted to put our loved ones there.
Arboria of Long Grove is a wonderful and caring place for your loved one. My mother is in assisted living, but has some memory issues, so, I liked that there is an adjacent memory facility she can move into when needed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The caregivers and nurses are very attentive, helpful, and caring. The activities are different every day and so fun! My mom has only been there 7 months, but she feels safe and very well cared for. She now calls Arboria "Home."

Our family was able to do an in person tour and we really liked this community. We liked it because it seemed to be family owned. The staff members who we spoke with were talking about their meals and how the food is home cooked which stood out to us.
From senior staff to daily caregivers to food preparers and servers, this community exceeds expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Arboria.

Great staff that makes my mom feel better for being there. Good food with variety. Covid is taking its toll on the residents and families and they are trying. Need more communications/updates with families. Should have more driving outings to get them out. Staff answers residents' button with great urgency. Need larger fridges and to be brighter in rooms. Very clean facility and responsive mgt staff. Maintenance is on the ball. Price kind of steep but in line with others in area.

If you want peace of mind to know that your loved one is safe and well cared for, rest assured, Arboria is the right assisted living community for your beloved. My mother has been a resident there for 5 months and she already feels like it's her "home." I describe it as a "Boutique" facility (small, but large in quality), where EVERY resident is important and you are certainly not just a number. All the staff from the Executive Director, to the Nursing Team & care-givers are extremely friendly, compassionate, rapid to respond to her (& her call button - which she pushes often) and offer great communication. I think it is important to mention that my mother has had hardly any issues since she moved in, but when one did arise, it was rectified immediately. The daily activities are always different and the Activities Team constantly make it fun for the residents to be involved. The facility also often conducts livestreams on social media where you can watch your loved one live and in action! Overall, my mother and I have been met with nothing but positive experiences in this assisted living community. If researching facilities in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, I highly recommend you check out Arboria.

My wife [name removed] was an assisted-living resident of Arboria of Long Grove from the beginning of June until her passing in [date removed]. Both she and I greatly appreciated the staff and the wonderful facility at Arboria. Everyone went out of his or her way to make [name removed] as safe, comfortable and happy as possible. If you are looking for a place for your loved one for assisted-living or memory care, I would strongly recommend that you consider Arboria. It would be hard to do better.

The care services at Arboria community are excellent, and due to COVID they have had to stop all of the activities. The people at this community are so friendly and they really seem to care for the residents who are staying there.

Looks nice, food is very good, and most people are nice. My Mom had a nice time there, taking advantage of various activities for about two weeks. Unfortunately the CEO and/or the head of nursing did not especially care to make sure she got her Parkinson's meds in a very timely manner. Various times when I or relatives were there we had to go track down her drugs after waiting an hour or an hour and a half. My emails stressing timely administration seemed to make no difference, and she ended up declining in health quite rapidly and having multiple trips to the hospital in just two or three weeks. She went to a skilled nursing rehab facility and I relocated her to another assisted living place that seems to deliver on their promises. My opinion is that this is not at all a safe place for anyone who needs drugs delivered within an hour of their normal schedule. Shame!

Just visited Mom-in-Law and she was in very good spirits. She said how lucky she was to have such a nice place/ The entire place was spotless. All the caregivers were kind, considerate and very helpful. Mom said food was very good. Highly recommend.

Beautiful brand new place!! The employees couldn’t have been any nicer! We feel like family already!! I think with my mom being Cuban she’ll have people to speak to and that will understand her.

BEWARE !! My mother was one of the first residents in Memory care at this facility. While at Arboria she passed away, and was under the care of Hospice. The care from Hospice was excellent and Caring. The Hospice company was suggested by the doctor, and Not Arboria. The people who cared for my mother while at Arboria were in general OK. However, the head of nursing is Out of touch of reality and would tell me about situations that were abated 4-5 days prior. ( On More than one occasion) Her own staff would have to correct her to current conditions. Her attention seems more directed to Sales that being informative and active in patient care, and her style of management to me seems like a "Rudderless Ship". I have been trying to secure a prorata Refund check, for the time when my mother passed away to the end of the month, per this operations policy, and have still not received a check. I have been through the usual "The check is in the mail" to Now, having the refund check being returned as "UnPaid" by my bank. The negatives of our experience at this operation out weighs any of the possible small Positives. I have told this operation I will now file suit. The General manager has been of No helps and also seems pre-occupied with Sales as well. Sales that only comes from securing New Patients. New patients that may well have to go through this same kind of lack of communication and Failed Follow through, we have had to endure. They have all the excuses in the world. Just think for yourself, If this is how Arboria handles people, policies, follow through and communications, and they are not to full capacity, then how will they handle more patients and meet safe and caring guidelines. They will also be reported to the State of Illinois as well and the BBB.

I was touring communities for my parents and this community was very nice but it just wasn't right for them. The room was 100 square feet less than another community and had the same level of care but for about 2,500 dollars more. So needless to say we couldn't do that but the community is nice maybe for a single person not a couple.
