The good thing about Sunrise is that it is not as large as some other communities we looked at, it is easier for the residents to navigate around the place. They have onsite nursing staff 24 hours a day. It is s very secure community cannot get in and out without being let in and they have done a great job sanitizing everything during the covid pandemic. The food is not as good as it could be, but we understand everyone is struggling to get food and keep consistent staffing.

The therapist were so great, knowledgeable and patient! Hopefully the staff will increase over time so the present staff are not stretched so thin, as they seem to be. Maybe the bell (for nurses) system can somehow be upgraded as you hear bells all day. With lack of staff it is difficult for them to address everyone's needs as they seem to be overburdened.
