I toured with Arden Courts in South Holland and it was an extremely nice facility, but unfortunately it is just too expensive for what my friend was going to be able to afford for herself.
The interaction with the staff was good. We picked this community, because it was close for familly to visit and the cleanliness of the building. The rooms need to be remodeled on the second and third floor. They can improve on the level of care, and educate the caregivers on dementia and alzheimer's. The staff was very friendly and did the best that they could. I would recommend to other families.

I think this facility is pretty good. I don't have any issues with it at all. Communication with the family is great, they call often. The staff is friendly. Housekeeping is done often and it's always very clean. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

As of yet they seem to be managing my mom just fine. They keep me informed of any issues that come up, and I am pleased with her nurse. They try to keep her involved in activities as much as possible without forcing her to participate.

This is the best place to take someone that has Alzheimer's or dementia. The staff are very good and very caring with me as well as my loved one. My loved one was not able to participate in activities but they took fantastic care of my loved one.
I have been very satisfied with Arden Courts. It is always spotless clean and fresh. I am over there quite often and if things go wrong, it is always quickly taken care of. They really pay attention to details. I do think they could use more assistive help and I am not just talking about Arden Courts, that is at any facility. Other than that, the place is always clean and the staff are sincere and dedicated. I know she is being well cared for. I am grateful that they were considerate of our time and situation financially. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.
I toured this community and I did like it. We ultimately chose another community because this property was smaller and more expensive than we anticipated. Although we chose another community, I did feel that they would take good care of my loved one.
It was a nice tour and the facility is lovely. It is all on one floor and the residents all seemed to be very happy. It was my 1st choice but it was just too pricey for my loved ones funds.
The lady who gave us the tour and all the information in the beginning was very friendly and courteous. Everyone you would talk to were so friendly and polite and very encouraging. However they at times did not have enough staff around so when we would call to try and get a hold of someone it was difficult. The meals seemed rather ordinary, and during our loved ones stay for respite there was not to many activities going on for him.

Our family had a virtual tour, and as far as the tour goes it was a good experience. The way the building look was very nice, but the inside seemed a little older with darker wood, and we wanted a place that gave off a rally warm and bright feeling for our loved one.
Excellent facility. Kind and caring stafff. I would recommend it highly. Thank you!!

My mother has been at Arden in South Holland for many years. I have always been happy with her care. The staff turnover is very low so most carers are the same she has had since the beginning. The facilities are very clean and the food is varied and nutritious. I highly recommend this location.

The staff is very friendly. They take good care of the residents. They keep in contact with families to let you know what is going on. They have great follow up. I have not had any issues. The room sizes are nice. They have four different houses. They have a secure outdoor space for residents to use.

My dad loves it here, they just need more staff. They are the top for the home being clean, plenty of activities, great atmosphere, they just need more help, they are short on aides.

Our mom has only been there for about 1-1/2 weeks. When we went for the tour we knew immediately this is where we wanted our mom to go. Then over time we've seen how friendly, kind and respectful the staff is not only towards our mother but towards the family and their concerns. Arden Courts is very clean, the rooms are small but pleasant and they encourage the "guests" to get out of their rooms, walk around, attend activities, etc. There are several "sitting" areas each themed to sit at. There is room for your family and there is a lovely outdoor area all around the place. Mom has definitely had her ups and downs but she's getting around better than she has in a while and seems to enjoy walking around and talking with the other guests. So far, so good. Would definitely recommend.

This seemed like a nice clean community when we visited. The people we met were friendly and helpful. This community just did not seem to be in the same class as the community we chose.

I am happy with the care that my father is getting from the caring staff. The meals are outstanding and he loves the variety on the menu. My father is offered the activities. and hopefully he will participate in time. We would recommend this community the many areas of care in a clean community for other families and there loved ones.
