Morristown has a rich history involving the American Revolution. With its various Colonial sites and natural forests, Morristown prides itself on being a stopping point for George Washington and the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.

One of the most famous landmarks in Morristown is Jockey Hollow, where Washington’s army encampment was located.
