Assisted living communities usually provide opportunities for social activity, assistance with the activities of daily life, and care supervision. Public assistance is available through A Medicaid 1915(c) waiver called the Supported Living Program and a 1915(b) waiver called the Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program. Staff members receive education in a number of areas. These areas include reporting, abuse, hygiene, and residents’ need and service plans. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals.
