We really like the size of Franciscan Court it is a smaller community. When we first met with the staff they were very friendly and welcoming. Our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining service.
I would highly recommend to not put your loved one in here, especially if they have Alzheimer's. My mom had Alzheimer's and they said they could handle that, 2 weeks later they told me I was going to need to move her out and they could not deal with her. It was not a good experience.
Franciscan Court is a place that we feel our loved one is safe, comfortable and is being well taken care of. Everyone is willing to be helpful and are very friendly. Everything has been wonderful for us.
We went with Franciscan Court because of the location. She is very pleased with the facility. She has a very nice size apartment with plenty of space for her. It is nice because it is a smaller community, about 70 residents so you get to know people better and it is also run by a family so it is more personal. I would recommend to others looking.
The rooms at the community are nice and comfortable. Our overall experience was good it was a positive one and we would not hesitate to recommend this community to a family or friend.
My dad seems to be very happy at Franciscan Court. My dad likes the food. The rooms are small but that is all they really need. The layout of the community is good. We have had a positive experience so far.
Franciscan Court has given me peace of mind. They are really providing good care. They have staff and CNA's available 24/7 to help residents. They have a full activity calendar. Franciscan Court is is a really good place for seniors. It was just perfect timing that we found them for my mom.
My friend has been at Franciscan court for more than three years. I have been very pleased with her care. This Family owned facility offers a community atmosphere and compassionate care. I felt confident that my friend was taken care of and that I was kept informed of any concerns. Someone was always available to talk to me. Any request I had was taken care of by the staff. The kindness and gentleness of the owners permeates the facility. I am grateful that they were there for my friend.
Mom has setlled in and is doing great. She says the food is great and has made new friends already. The staff is friendly and attentive. She loves activities like the walking club and bingo. Franciscan Court has proven to be a great choice for her and she always talks of how nice everyone is.
Franciscan Court in West Chicago is a little "gem" tucked away the area of Routes #59 & #64. It is family owned and the family is involved with the day-to-day operations. It is immaculate and the clients receive loving care from the staff. The nurse's ([name removed] & [name removed]) are very caring and if you have concerns they are always ready to assist you. The food is plentiful and appetizing. After touring several facilities for my Mom I found Franciscan Court to be very reasonable in price. A high price doesn't mean better care! Every individual has different needs, and if your loved one is unable to remain safely in their home any longer, Franciscan Court would be a wonderful alternative.
Residents are treated well and with respect. It is very much a family run, caring place. The nurses are excellent. The population seems to be very Senior. My mom is one of the few in her 70's. They plan some nice activities and have a weekly Bible study mom really enjoys.
My mom lives here and the staff are wonderful. There are plenty of daily activities. The staff here always comes up with different things to help my mom. We are very happy with franciscan court and would recommend any family looking for assisted living go there and take a tour.
My sister moved to Franciscan Court four months ago and likes it very much. The important things are very obvious: she feels safe there and she likes the food. The care staff (physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, housekeeping, nurses) have worked together to help her deal with her physical problems, which were assessed quickly and dealt with directly.
Franciscan Court is a caring environment. Family owned and operated. [name removed] spent a great deal of time explaining everything and showing me the facility. I am still deciding what is the best fit for my mom, but this is on my list.
We went on a tour here and the staff was friendly. They answered all of our questions. We liked them alot but they had no separate safe section for the memory care. It looked nice and clean. But it was ultimately my parents choice.
Very nice facility, they treat my uncle like family at the Franciscan Court. The staff is very friendly and caring and attentive to his care needs. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They welcome all of my family members when we come to visit and we feel like a part of the family at Franciscan Court. My uncle is still acclimating to his new surroundings so the staff members really go out of their way to encourage him to participate in the activities that they offer. They provide transportation for the residents to go out on shopping trips and other excursions. The grounds are well-maintained, and they have nice courtyards and patio areas for the residents to go outside and enjoy the fresh air. This community is excellent value for your money. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.
Franciscan Court was a community we were going to move my dad into except for the miscommunication that they were under the impression that we were going to commit to 12 months. It was a very nice and clean community. The staff was very friendly and helpful of letting us know everything that could do for my dad. It just was not in our budget.
Franciscan Court was a very nice and clean community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was not as bright and cheery as we had seen. We chose another community because we wanted mom in independent living.
This community had one caregiver to eighteen residents. This community seems to be for more active residents. They over medicated mom and forced her to sleep in her bed instead of in her chair. She fell out of bed twice and they did not let us know that this is what happened when she went to the hospital. When she returned from the hospital they forced us to pay for a full time caregiver. They did not seem to have the time to care for her properly.
I like the care for my father. The staff keeps me informed on his care. We are trying to get a phone line in my father's room. The menu is appealing, but my father is wanting more of a variety of what is offered. The activities are good for my father and he is starting to participate with the other residents. We would recommend the care and the good value of this community for the care of a loved one.
