Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to guarantee their needs are going to be met. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as community will identify scope of care based on evaluation, a negotiated risk plan will be established, A comprehensive assessment, and evaluation must be updated at least semi-annually or when a significant change in condition occurs. Staff members obtain training in a number of subjects. These areas include resident care, records, instructions on the needs of the specialized populations served in the community, and including evacuation procedures. Public assistance is available through Medicaid A&D and TBI 1915(c) Waiver program.
