Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community, but it had a lot of floors and we wanted a place where our loved one would not have to worry about different levels.

This is a small community and the staff are nice and attentive. However it is kind of just the bare bones. They have activities like going out to watch the air shows nearby, beach parties, outside dance parties, and so much more for the residents to do to stay busy. Everyday they have something going on it was just all enclosed in in their space, always something for them to do.

Moved my grandma from another very expensive place nearby to this location. Most senior living places are astronomically expensive, but Farmington Hills Inn is good for average people who don't have a million dollars banked. Staff was always polite and communicated very well with me while caring for my grandma. The building is a little older and the rooms are a little small, but the care was always really good, which is what truly matters. I ate their multiple times with her and the food was usually great, especially the soup. She didn't like participate in many of the activities, but the calendar always looked full. I would use them again if needed.

Our virtual tour was very good. Of course in-person is always better, but they did a good job with the virtual format. The staff were very helpful. Atria Park of Ann Arbor was in our top two choices, but another place had a couple of things Atria didn't: 1) a memory care unit that was downstairs, so we could do window visits during Covid, and 2) physical therapy on-site. We chose Ashley Court because it was a smaller, homey facility which works out great for my mom, she can get to the dining room and activities room much easier. They have a ton of activities provided. My mother is not one to participate, but now I see pictures of her all the time on their website doing all of the activities. The staff tenure is amazing and that is something we noted from our tour and loved. It speaks volumes when the executive directors started off as car givers years ago.
