  • St. Mary’s Hospital – One of the largest hospitals in the region, St. Mary’s has 440 beds and provides emergency services to 18 surrounding counties.

Arts, Culture, Entertainment, and Recreation

As the capital of the state and home to one of the best universities in the Midwest, living in Madison, Wisconsin provides tons of entertainment. One of the most popular destinations for arts and culture in the city is the Overture Center for the Arts, which also houses the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. The Olbrich Botanical Gardens are another popular spot home to one of only four Thai Pavilions outside of Thailand.

There are a number of bus lines throughout the city that offer public transportation. Madison is also considered a regional travel hub with Greyhound bus lines connects the city to other regional hubs such as Minneapolis and Chicago. Furthermore, the Badger Bus also connects the University to Wisconsin’s second major city, Milwaukee.
