So far, everything is great!!

Many times in our lives we have to make decisions that we do not want to make, such as giving up our home that we have worked hard for and moving into senior living. However it is the best decision that my husband and I have made. The American House that we are living at has a very caring and helpful staff making us feel that we are important to them. The life enrichment classes and exercise programs are very helpful in keeping us mentally and physical fit. Medical team is their when needed and the meals are nutritious.

This was the first apartment we toured. My grandma didn’t want to look anywhere else. She’s moving in and we couldn’t be happier

Brownstown is a beautiful location for mom. The rent is more than affordable, the apartments are gorgeous (lots of closet space), and the community is very active. There is a lot going around town and there is an awesome walking path in the back. She has met a lot of great people there. Staff is caring and go out of their way, building is very clean, never have to wait for maintenance to be done. Right by police station so she feels safe. 5/5

When my sister and I arrived we were told they did not have an appointment for us on the schedule. However they still accommodated us and were very kind. My sister only had two comments of concern. Stated the place had a nursing home feel to it upon entry. Also was uncomfortable with the long halls. Otherwise, she liked the units we were shown and thought they were very nice. Still looking.

Very good place to live and have activities. Good services.

American House Lakeside is an amazing facility. FABULOUS Office Staff, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping and The Medical Team. Mom used the Med Team quite often and they were always there to help my mom whenever she needed it. Sadly, Mom passed away recently and we will of course miss Her dearly, but I will miss the Fabulous Staff as well.

The staff at this community are really sharp and efficient. The maintenance and housekeeping are friendly and very helpful. They do not offer a lot of social activities. I would recommend this community.

My Aunt so is very Happy here, this community is definity a 5+ star community, All the staff is wonderful, friendly and so accommodating. Her apt has a full kitchen which my Aunt loves because she can fix her own meals or she can go to the dining room. They have a great shuttle service she can use for shopping and doctor appointments. There are lots of activities for her to take part in and she's making friends. We are both so glad she is here at this community.

Great place. Very nice apartment-like rooms and good feel in facility. Lovely wooded surroundings and apartments have pleasant/peaceful balconies. W&D in each unit. This would be Independent Living with services added when needed - medical team on property. Can stay in place as needs increase. Many employees been with company for many years.

My first choice for mom. Clean, new, beautiful and close to my home. Unfortunately, mom said it reminds her of a hospital.

I'am very pleased with my mothers move to this community. She is doing very well, and this is a community I would recommend it. It is a lovely community with great people. The office staff is always very friendly, and polite. The residents have been welcoming, and kind. The community looks great, and the house keeping is good. They provide wonderful meals for their residents, she is pleased with the food. This has been a positive move for her to this community, and I would recommend it to my friends.

I do feel comfortable with my father move to this community. I love to this community, everything is working our very well, and I'am pleased with his move here. This is a great community with kind people. Everyone has been wonderful.

Very nice and clean facility, friendly staff. Nice location. Long waitlist for low income residents. Very expensive otherwise. Placed my parents on the waitlist, hope to hear sooner than 2 yrs.

I like the care at this community. We liked that the staff keeps us informed on her progress. We like knowing that the community is clean and maintained. My mom seems to be happy here and that makes us happy to know that she is getting great care. We would recommend this community for the care of and value of a loved one.

My aunt absolutely loves this community, and everything is working out very well. It has been a fantastic experience for us in this community. I'am very pleased with all they have done for us. They have a great staff, and they are very kind, and welcoming. I couldn't be any more pleased with all they have done for us. I would highly recommend this community, it is a good place.
