The food is suffering during covid, the portion size is small and they have forgotten my mom. before covid, the food was much better in the dining room setting. When my father's care was increased he was allowed to stay with my mom and he was able to age in place. she really likes the residence and the staff and has made friends. I would recommend this community to others

We chose American House Lakeside Senior Living because it was close to my house and it was also very clean. They were also income based, so they were able it help us out on price. The rooms were very nice for one person, they were like little apartments. I would recommend the community to others looking.

So far it’s seams like a very wonderful place for my Mom The only reason I’m giving the activity a low score is because the state or who ever is in charge of running this facility will not let these elderly people participate in social events. But [name removed] is trying her best to offer the residents at American House a new normal . Thank you

They seem well run. They communicate well with the family and it is a good affordable option. The room sizes are quite large. They have a very pretty outdoor space for the residents to use. It has a home-like feeling.

Very nice residence. Clean, smells nice, residents appeared to be happy. Room size is adequate. No problem, just that moving from a house to an apartment would be an adjustment for my folks, but they could have what they need in an apartment of this size. Family atmosphere.

My mom loved her room. Even though her stay was short both she and my family loved all of the staff. They were sensitive to our needs and very caring.

My mother-in-law spent her last 10 months of life at American House. She enjoyed 9 months immensely, getting acquainted with new friends and having many friends visit. She enjoyed being able to walk each day, join field-trips and eat great meals with her table mates. He last month of life she spent two weeks in the hospital but was able to come back to American house (with hospice care) her final two weeks. Great Staff!

What a change from the previous residence facility! This is for living! My mom loves the feeling of American Home; it’s a bubbly place with good activities, great food , and positivity . It’s wonderful for the apartment to have laundry & a kitchen ! Happy mom, happy daughter!

Staff very friendly and facilities were very clean and modern very bright and cheerful. Floor plan is well laid out so resident does not have to walk far to reach any of the facilities services.

Its just beautiful and the staff is wonderful and friendly.

Ive loived in other communiuties and found this community to be affirdable, but you also get your money worth. The Medical team could be a little more friendlier, but overall all the staff are great. Ive made a lot of friends here

I really enjoy how friendly everyone is in the building. Ive made so many friends, and Im looking forward to more years of good times. many places wont allow you to keep your animals, but here at american house you can bring your small pet with you.

I enjoy bingo at the building. There are so many activities and they are well organized. I enjoy living here, and all of the friend I have met.

American House is a great place for my mom- she Really likes it there. I would like to see doors open automatic it is hard for them to open.

American House has been such a wonderful place for my mom to call home for the last 2 years. [Name removed], [name removed] and everyone there are so awesome and committed to making sure everyone there feels like family.
