If shopping is your thing, then Edina is the place for you! Edina is home to America’s first fully enclosed shopping mall, the Southdale Center, as well as the upscale Galleria Mall. In addition, the 50th and France area offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants with all of the charm of a small town.
In the summer residents flock to Centennial Lakes Park, the crown jewel of the Edina Parks system, to enjoy mini golf and lawn games, as well as concerts and movies at the outdoor amphitheater. In the winter, residents lace up their skates and hit the ice. All year long, visitors can also enjoy the park’s paved pathways and the public art promenade.
Backing up its strong commitment to the Arts, the Edina Art Center offers classes in photography, pottery, painting, and drawing to residents of all ages. Edina also hosts two nationally recognized Art Fairs each year: the Edina Art Fair in June, and the Fall into the Arts Festival in September.
