Our family had an in person tour and we were not really impressed with the staff, they just seemed like they were there to do a job and did nothing special to make us feel welcomed. Other communities we were visiting went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
The community is kept very neat and clean and my loved one really likes the food. They do a great job taking care of my loved one. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.
We chose Summit Place because they have a swimming pool, the proximity to family, and the services that they provide. They do offer shuttle buses and a lot of activities. They do offer flexibility of the meal plans as well as on site support, they offer care all the way up to memory care. The staff here are helpful especially during the covid situation. I would highly recommend to others looking.
We chose Summit Place because of the convenient location. The apartment sizes here are decent, they could improve the layouts though. The staff members here are very friendly and they have been good with communication. Overall we have been pleased and we are excited for things to start opening back up.
I would say it should be in your top 1 or 2 choices for communities for your loved one. The number of activities were great prior to COVID. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and great to work with. There always a smiling face. We never felt that we were settling for communities. The community worked with us in changing units that my loved one was in.
I looked at Summit Place a year before mom moved in, I was impressed with the people I dealt with, at Summit Place she is not just a number. They were so helpful with helping my mom adjust. My mom suffers from depression and anxiety so it was a hard process. Every member of the staff down to the kitchen staff were so helpful to make this move successful. They do not cater to limited diets but do always have Salmon and Chicken as a dinner options.
Might be just right for respite or short term. Choir, dancing, church + shuttle goes to door of our church. workout area and warm pool. Memory care was decorated like nursing home and didn't smell great. Some areas also smelled of an incense that was tough
Might be just right for resale or short term. Choir, dancing, church should to our church, workout area and warm pool. Memory care was decorated like nursing home and didn't smell great.
I appreciate [name removed] giving my Dad a great tour. My Dad's main concern was the expense. The pros were the pool and chapel.
I am finding the care at summit is really supportive of both the resident and the residents family. Very communicative, and helpful. There are a lot of activities, at every level. My dad is not one that chooses to participate so I don't know a lot about the substance of the activities. They continue to try to get him involved.

Thank you for your review Karrie! We strive to be supportive and caring to both residents and family members. Our programming focuses around the 6 dimensions of wellness; physical, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and vocational. We're glad your dad is having a good experience at Summit.
I was very impressed! Will keep on my under consideration list. Building is quite large and long walks to meals and activities. That may not be a bad thing. Very well kept up and VERY friendly atmosphere.

We're glad you liked our communities! Thank you for your review!
They offer a swimming pool and hot tub. The people I met were nice. This community is nice, however it is in a very congested area. We did not think this area would work for my loved ones.
This is a very nice community it has a lot to offer the residents here, the rooms are a nice size and they do offer different levels of care here as well. The staff did a very nice job showing us around and they answered all our questions. My mom just did not think this was the right atmosphere for her, I would recommend taking a tour here.
I felt they were not honest with us up front about the cost. We were charged for things that we did not know about. They do not include a breakdown of the charges on the billing statement. I have not seen a lot of activities that my loved one would be interested in. They do like the food and the community is gorgeous. My loved one is not happy here as we think they need a community with more activity. I would recommend asking if the cost is all inclusive when you tour a community.
This is a nice community. I drive by it everyday on the way to work. The community looks nice, and well maintained. You can tell they do a good job with the cleanliness of the community. It is a community I would consider moving my loved ones too, it is a nice facility.
After we had a tour of this community I decided this was the place. However they were not able to provide the level of care that he needs. The staff were nice and it was clean and a wonderful place.
Mother loved the look and feel of this place. She will be placed on the waiting list, and hopefully moving in soon.
The staff are nice and helpful when needed. I think they communicate with me well. The meals seems good, she is not complaining. The community seems to be clean all the time. My mom has tried a couple of activities.
My mom is living at Summit Place Senior Campus. She is doing fine so far. The care is going pretty well. My sister visits her often.
Things are going well at Summit Place. The staff is very nice and we have made lots of friends here. The staff does a great job of communicating with us. The apartments are modern and spacious and the food is decent.
