Value for cost
The openness and cleanliness of the Waters really stood out to us, and on our initial tour the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The apartments are very nice, spacious and almost sound proof.
Our family had an in person tour, our loved one really enjoyed the aesthetic's, it is very beautiful. The entrance is decorated very contemporary, it is very welcoming and new. The apartments were very well decorated and very spacious, but the rent was twice the amount of another community we were looking into. We have heard from our residents that they do enjoy living there, but it is more expensive.
The staff members there are so very friendly and very respectful, and the meals the serve the residents are amazing. We do think the value for cost is excellent and we would recommend the Waters community to others.
I loved this place.
We chose Waters of Eden Prairie because it was in a convenient location to family. The room sizes here are very nice and spacious. I do also like the size of the building, it is not too big so it is more homey. We have been very pleased and I would recommend them.
There are exercise classes, WII bowling, corn hole toss and a social hour. There are always a lot of activities to do and everyone wears a mask. Our apartment is fairly nice, we have a one bedroom with a den and a fireplace. We have a pretty good very and we are happy. It is also convenient for grocery shopping.
The staff is great and they try really hard to make my dad and other residence feel at home. The room sizes are good and my dad has a 1 bedroom apt, the food was amazing but they have struggled with the food during covid. I would recommend this facility to others.
Brother found it to be an excellent and impressive facility. [Name removed] didn't like it - said it was "too perfect". They have availability though, so she may wind up there.
[Name removed] was thoughtful and thorough. There are so many places for residents to go throughout the building and grounds that they can sit and do the activities they love to do.
Very nice property and staff. Too much outside of our budget, however.
A lovely place, but my mom needs more care than this place can offer.
I was very impressed with this facility. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The Hallways were open and wide with many common area's with windows. [Name removed] met with me and she was extremely helpful, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions. This property offers a Moderate Rent program that gives a discount. The rooms are spacious, even the studio's, and have lots of natural light. I was given lots of documentation with nursing options and pricing, sample menu's, over all information documents and a business card to call with further questions. I was very comfortable, and the residents were all friendly and happy to talk with me. This would be a great place for my Dad.
This facility is just fabulous. Every time I talk to my Mother, she sounds more content every day and she knows that she is in the right place. The building itself is very nice and clean. My mom is staying in a 1 bedroom apartment that is over 800 square feet. Before she moved in they actually replaced all of the carpeting and painted the walls. For activities they have exercise classes, cards, an in-houses hair stylist, and a driver that can take you to appointments. I would recommend this community to other families.
I looked at the colony while trying to find a place for my husband. I liked the staff there and the fact that the community was close by and convenient. However, I was uncomfortable with the fact that service were charged a la carte. You pay a base fee for the level of care your loved one needs, and then they add on more charges for meals, for medication reminders, for bathing, etc. This concept scared me.
We are very happy with this great community for the care for my parents. We like the staff that is caring and very attentive. They are happy with the menu with the variety that is available. They have activities that are offered and sometimes they participate with other residents. We would recommend this community for other families for the care and value.
This place feels like home- staff are so caring and I feel very lucky to live here!
This community is wonderful! The staff show much care and compassion each and every day. The place is beautiful yet feels like home.
A new management company took over the facility. Since then the building is not vacuumed including the stairs. The food is cold. The aides do not respond to the calls in a reasonable amount of time etc... Something needs to be done before the residents vacate the facility. Maybe the corporation is not concerned about it. Big corporations, small concern for individuals.
This really looked like a great set up. I'm on the waiting list here. Unfortunately they didn't have anything available when we needed it. They met a lot of my high priority expectations. I really liked their staff to resident ratio, which is like 1 for every 3 residents.
We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking facility, although they were in the middle of some remodeling work when we visited. It looked like they provided good care for their residents, however I did not think my loved one would enjoy the shared suite style accommodations.
