This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as service plan identifies the individual’s specific needs for care, The home must complete a service plan in cooperation with each resident and/or their representative, service plan identifies the individual’s need for activities, and The service plan must be updated annually and following a significant change in health status. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include reminding a resident to maintain his/her medication schedule in accordance with the prescription, proper training of direct care workers to handle and administer medications, and medication supervision and administration. Staff members receive education in a number of fields. These include: personal care, standard precautions, residents rights and responsibilities, and staff training program based on the residents’ service plans.
