Have my father in Sunrise of Troy "Road to Home program". I was not sure what to expect but Sunrise delivered on their promises of the level of care for my father. What has really stood out to me are the people who work at Sunrise of Troy. They really do care about the people they are taking care of. Everyone participates in his care from caregivers, aids, nurses, food preparer, and all of upper management on a daily basis. Are they perfect no, but do they do an excellent job, YES! I highly recommend Sunrise of Troy, they are a well run organization, all working together to provide family care for my father.... Read more

So far with our loved one moving to this community we are very satisfied with the services they have to offer. One thing we find extremely important and notable is that they have some pretty seasoned staff members some of them have been there for more then 15 years so it really gives us that strong sense of team unity.

August 9, 2022Hi Customer, Thank you for the wonderful things you said about Sunrise of Troy and the dedicated care givers and team members. Our residents are part of the Sunrise family and we take enormous pride in having the privilege to take care of them.

Everybody here is nice, happy and very friendly.
We were very pleased and felt comfortable with our loved one's care. We were always able to reach somebody. All in all, it was a good experience. The people there were caring. And we were able to reach somebody if we needed to.
Very welcoming community. I enjoyed the tour but the home is under construction so difficult to tell what it will be like when finished. Small group of people which makes for an intimate setting.
Moved my Loved one in March 2019, overall experience has been good, but I think house keeping could do a better job vacuuming and air freshening as needed. Visit 1-2 times a week various days and find clothes piled in various spots, trash can that needed to be cleaned and almost always vacuuming done. Care has been great, as far as dressing and taking care of loved one gentle patient caregivers. Plenty of activities would like to see a manicurist come in monthly. Overall good experience,
Loving care, attention to needs, good food! What else can be said? A truly unique and special place for "senior care!" The entire staff is totally dedicated to providing the best possible experience for both the resident and the family!
A genuinely caring/loving staff. Could not hope or ask for more attention to my loved one's needs! This is as much a "family," as it is a nursing/care facility! Everyone on the staff truly cares about each individual resident, knows them by name, and does whatever is required to meet their needs! After three months, I have not yet encountered a person at this facility that doesn't deserve high marks for either their concern or dedication to the well being of all of the residents! Frequent activities/entertainments are offered to keep the residents "involved/socialized!" The food/meal offerings are exceptional, with a truly interesting mix of entrees, while also, at the same time, offering many "basic" alternative offerings to those that don't choose to "enjoy/subscribe" to' the daily menu items. Nope, nothing is "perfect!" But, if you want your loved one well cared for, as I most certainly do, you would do well to consider Sunrise Of Troy.
We loved this facility and will keep it in mind. Turns out it's just over our budget at this time.
The community has been absolutely wonderful in all aspects to my wife and her needs. She is really enjoying her meals and is eating better than ever since the move to Sunrise of Troy. It is very clean with great activities. I could not have asked for a better place than this facility.
My dad enjoyed his short 10 day respite care stay at Sunrise of Troy. Since he was only there for a short time he did not take part in any of the activities offered. I had a meal with him while he was there. The food was good and there was a variety of choices. The community is well maintained and the staff was great. I would definitely have him stay there again.
Update to past review. She is now in a private room and loves it. She was also able to speak for herself the needs she requires about care such as assist with dressing (she can do it herself). Staff was made aware and she is now "living" much like she did at home while having social interactions activities ,(of which there are MANY!), delicious home cooked meals, medication management, etc. SUNRISE of Troy, you are an answer to our prayers!
We could not be any happier with Sunrise. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Mom LOVES it here. Many activities everyday, excellent home cooked meals, clean, friendly, respectful environment.
bEEN THERE A MONTH. MEALS ARE WONDERFUL, LOTS OF ACTIVITES, NICE ROOMS. WEEKEND AIDS (SOME) ARE GRUFF WITH CLIENTS AS WELL AS SOME MIDNIGHT AIDS. MOVING INTO A RIVATE ROOM TO SEE IF THAT HELPS SOLVE SOME OF THIS. THIS IS HER PERCEPTION AND SHE IS A COMPLAINER ANYWAYS--SO IT MAY NOT BE AS BAD AS SHE RELAYS TO ME . LOL

I think they need to take more care of my loved one's diet. He came up with extra fluids and ended up in the hospital. Other than that, It was a pretty good experience at the Sunrise of Troy. It's clean. The staff is very friendly.
The staff are wonderful and really caring. They always answers your questions or something is going they will contact me and let me knows whats going on. My mother lives here and she is happy and adjusting really well. The staff also go above and beyond on their job to make sure they feel like home.
Sunrise of Troy did an excellent job with my Mother. They have a great place.
We just moved my grandma in last week but everything went smoothly and all the staff I've met so far has been friendly and gone out of their way to make us all comfortable with the transition. It's a very nice facility, well kept and clean. I look forward to visiting her now instead of avoiding visits at the nursing home she moved from.
They're doing a great job at Sunrise of Troy. The caregivers are friendly and attentive, and the personalized attention they manage to give each resident is excellent. They provide a very high level of care, which is good if your loved one is just on the edge of where they may need skilled nursing. The facility itself is beautifully decorated and has a real community feel. I've always been helped right away with any questions or concerns I've had.
We have had some issues with their administrative and billing procedures. We've had several bills that have been completely incorrect, or they have even sent the bill to the wrong person. The bill is coming from their national headquarters, but the local facilities have to fix them. Other than that, it's a good facility. The staff is nice and the general care is good. It's acceptable, but not perfect.
