Arts, Culture, Entertainment, and Recreation

Located on the banks of both the Delaware and Christinia Rivers, many seniors find living in Wilmington to be pleasant and relaxing. The Downtown area is filled with lots of local history such as the DuPont Building which was built in the 20th century, the 1802 DuPont gunpowder works and the DuPont family’s Georgian-style home. The Hagley Museum showcases much of the DuPont family’s history in the city. Brandywine Park is located to the north of the city and has many walking paths and a zoo.
