This community was very nice we were just not ready for the changes. There also was no bathtub in the units and you had to pay extra to park in the lot.

We chose The Waters because we needed a place quickly and they had availability when we needed it. The room sizes at the facility are good, she had a studio and it was perfect for what she needed. I did have to go to staff quite a few times about some training issues, but they did fix the problems when it was brought to their attention. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

We chose The Waters of White Bear Lake because of quality of the facility, the cleanliness, and the value for the money. The convenient location was great for us as well. The apartment sizes are adequate, not too small not too big. When we first started then had a dining center in the evenings where residents could go eat, they closed that and now deliver to the room which is why I gave the food a lower score, it was also not communicated. Turnover of the staff has been an issue here, but I think that is the case everywhere. The staff are wonderful and very engaged, they have been great. I have looked at a lot of places and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We toured The Waters and at the time, my dad was at a different place independence wise and my mom did not feel comfortable. Seeing where he is at now, I am not sure if they would have been able to meet his needs.

It is a nice community. There is a high turnover of staff, and they don't follow the instructions. The billing has been inaccurate, and has been frustrating. It is the small things that have added up for us.

We chose The Waters of Oak Creek because of their willingness to work with us as a family during the whole covid time, they were phenomenal. Myself and my mom were caregivers for my dad and they allowed us to come inside and visit. It is also a newer facility as well and they offered independent living so my mom could transition there. I think they are doing a great job caring for my dad but I feel that they need to have more training on how to manage people who have memory care issues. My dad is not a fan of the food but they have been good at trying to accommodate things that he wants/needs. They are working on getting medicaid certified so we are keeping our fingers crossed that that gets carried through. I would recommend to others looking.

My kids chose The Waters of White Bear Lake because they liked the facility and they thought it was going to be a good fit and that they would provide good care. I have one of the biggest apartments and it is great size, but I do not have a balcony. A lot of the apartments do have balconies. All of the people here are so friendly and helpful, staff members and residents.

This community just felt right, the recruiter we spoke with was very helpful in the beginning and she seemed to really care about what was going on. The rooms are excellent, there is a variety to choose from. We would recommend this community to a family or friend. The only criticism we have with their COVID measure are a little to harsh. There has been no ability for my siblings or I to go visit our loved one unless it is through a glass window or out on the deck in the hot sun. We do understand and sympathize, but they just have not been very accommodating.

We were able to see both sides of this facility. The memory care area had some good features, and w got a rate sheet for the extra care, and are a little surprised with the what that monthly cost was at $6000 in addition to the assisted living rates.

We went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of our questions. It was gorgeous and a brand new building. So she would have had an apartment that nobody has ever lived. It was just too big for mom she gets winded easy so it wasn't a good fit. I would recommend this community if you have no mobility issues.

My wife is here. I chose them specifically after she broke her leg at a previous facility. The first 3 weekends were pretty bad as the weekend staff was a bit too demanding of her. But they’ve been letting her rest since I talked with them and things have been going okay since. The quality of the food here is a little better than a previous place that she was at and I think what they serve is well balanced and nutritious. The facility is in excellent condition cleanliness wise and they help her take a bath twice a week. Overall, this place has been better for her.
