Staff is very friendly, they have a tech that comes by and mops so things are clean. They only communicate with family if there is a problem, which is okay with me. The move in process was very smooth. I can't really comment on the meals, as my Dad is a picky eater. I would recommend Paradise to others. They have good security for elderly with Alzheimer's.

It's not perfect. It's a little not clean - laundry seems to be not always done. But 75% of the time my mom is engaged in activities when I visit (2 times per week differing day and times) and my mom seems really happy at Paradise. That kind of overrides all the other stuff. To know she is safe, she has friends, and she is happy.

I would recommend you check out the community and see if it would be a good fit for your loved one. Overall, I am happy with our experience here. The staff are helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. There are three meals a day served to the residents. The activities are just starting up as they have a new Activities Director.

I would say to go to this community and see for yourself if this community meets your needs. The workers have been for the most part very communicative with minor exceptions.

Just like everybody else they are struggling with staffing, so right now the activities are pretty limited which is also because of the covid restrictions. Also the residents and our loved one are having some issues with the selection and quality of the meals. However the staff members there are very god, very friendly, super helpful and are trying their best.

We chose Shangri-La mainly because of the value for the money. They do not have a lot of activities going on right now, but that is just covid related. My aunt really enjoys the food that is prepared. Our experience has been what we expected it to be and we would recommend them.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions that I had for them. I liked the open floor plan and thought they had a nice selection of amenities for the residents. I personally just thought they did not have the wow factor that I had saw in other places I looked at for my mother.

My sister is doing well since her move to this community. Everything is working out very well, and we are satisfied.

Very impressed with the staff. They made Mom feel welcome alleviated any concerns about her well being. The atmosphere was warm and inviting without trying to look like a 5 star hotel. We left there asking them to contact us when a vacancy opened up. We are presently in no rush.

It was a good experience touring the home. However, they did not have a single room only a shared room available. It was a clean home from what I saw. There were also several groups participating in an activity. One was playing a game, some were at word searches, and the others watching TV. All was nice but there were no private rooms available.

My mother is on a certain medication which requires monitoring and the nursing staff there do a wonderful job and keep me updated. They have fun activities for the residents and the food is good.

Coming from a bad nursing home situation, we had no idea if my husband could thrive and be able to manage in an assisted living environment. But the whole experience was much better than expected. We were very pleased with the food. The opportunity to join my husband for meals and mass made both of us very happy. The Thanksgiving celebration was lively; our entire family was invited to come which gave us a chance for all of us to be together for the holiday. [Removed] (I think that was her name) gave extra special care and my husband adored her. The chef was always so accommodating. I would consider going there myself when my time comes for that decision.

I'am doing very well here at this community. This is a nice community, and I'am pleased with my move here. It is good looking community, they do a good job keeping the community nice and clean. The staff is well, they are helpful and accommodating. There are activities offered for the residents. The food is very good, they serve great home cooked meals. I would recommend this community, it has worked out good for me.

I have been extremely pleased Shangri-La. The staff are very efficient and caring. It is a really nice place and I am happy with everything here. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My mother is experiencing dimentia symptoms and she is receiving good care at this facility. The staff is very friendly and displays a caring attitude. The administration aspects of this facility is always willing and able to assist with any requests regarding my mother's health care.

They are doing a very good job. The staff is very friendly, and they are attentive, and responsive. It really is a pretty good value. There have been no complaints about the food, at all, she really likes it. I would like to see a little more staff, I usually only see about two or three staff about, when I visit. I really liked the director Mr. Young, he was very understanding and friendly. He was willing to work with us.

I have thus far been satisfied with everything. It's in a good location for us. It was definitely nice that my loved one picked this out himself. There really isn't anything we have come across that needs to be improved as of yet.

It's seems like it's pretty good. They do a pretty good job. They have bingo and sing alongs, worship services on Sundays, movies...about 3 or 4 sheduled activities everyday. My mom doesn't like it but I don't think there's too many places she would be happy. She wants to be in her own home. The food is good. That's the one thing she does like. There are about 60 people so it's moderately sized. The price was good and it was close to home.

1 BR $3240/month + level 1 care - $300/month = help with morning get up, dress and help in shower twice a week. Only 4x Jewish residents currently.
