Paradise Assisted Living was awesome! Clean, well kept, did a great job for us. Friendly staff....a few minor things, but no one is perfect, right? They checked the right boxes for us!

We really like the responsiveness from the staff every time we reach out to them with questions or concerns, they have always had great communication. We know they used to have a ton of activities going on, but with the covid restrictions it is still pretty limited so we are hoping those start to come back.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Cost is in line with other places. Working with management and staff is easy. Food is excellent.

Everyone on staff is friendly. My mom enjoys going and they take good care of her which gives us respite options.

Checked all the boxes for us - friendly, clean, bright facility - activities going on - nice private spaces and rooms/apartments. Excellent tour - very extensive with lots of information and a discussion of the many options available.

My wife was in this community. The staff were attentive and trying to be helpful in every way to help her with her needs. The community was not expensive for the care that was given. The community was not as clean and it does need some improvements. We would recommend this community for the lowert cost with nice care. The menu seemed to be appealing.

My dad lived the place!

My sister has been in a few assisted living facilities but none has been better than Shangri La. The staff is outstanding in their friendliness, cooperation, knowledge and willingness to help without complaint. My sister said she has never been more comfortable and relaxed. Her blood pressure has never been better. We are very happy to have found Shangri La.

My dad lived here for the last couple of years of his life. He had been somewhere else and was so unhappy. Coming here was like coming home for him and his spirits soared. We were so blessed to have found such a loving home for him and he remained peaceful during his time there, After he passed, the staff continued to treat us like family when we attended the father's day Sunday service there. They gave him and a friend of his a wonderful tribute and gave us comfort and love.

Everybody seems really nice. They seem to be on top of the patients. They try to get them active. They make sure they are cleaned up. They interactive with them. I think they really try to help people and try to find them the best value for their money. It seems like they are family. The facility is always open. You can come back at any time. You can also call at anytime. My overall rating of the community is 5 stars.

I toured the community with the manager. She knowledgeable. The staff you can see is very caring. I have decided to put my dad there.

I recently had a tour with a tour with the assisted living manager. Although she was new she was very knowledgeble about the assisted living industry. I saw the staff interact with the residents and each other in a very caring manner. The prices are reasonable. I liked they are not as big as some in the area but big enough to have different departments so the care staff are dedicated in caring for the residents. When I am ready to move my parent Paradise Assisted Living is teh front runner.

I would recommend this place to anyone... Reasonable price assistant living manger was very pleasant tour was great rooms where worth the price. The staff was very polite and respectable she was the reason my dad was there for 3 months no complaints was well takin care of love the place !!!...very organized they made me feel lik my dad was right at home.

Very, very nice. Closer to Halethorpe. Have private and shared bath. Placed hold on private. Total of 40 residents.

My sister and I toured Shangri la and Paradise for my mom. The manager at Paradise is very knowledgeable and very professional unlike the manager at it's sister building in Ellicott City who seemed very disorganized. Paradise also seemed clean and well kept. Nice job to the manager. I don't know what she's getting paid, but it's not enough

I recently toured the community and was given the tour by the assisted living manager. She was very knowledgeble and explained what we should be looking for in an assisted living. She spent two hours with us answering our questions. The staff looked very caring. There were no smells or bad odors in the facility. This was important since we did not have a scheduled tour.
