Disappointing Experience

My mother had a very disappointing respite stay experience here at this community. I was not satisfied with the experience. They promised a lot of things in the interview, and they did not follow through with many things. We requested that she gets the newspaper every morning, and they never did deliver it. They never called and followed up after we left. It was a very disappointing experience, and I would not use this community again.

Not happy

Seems like everything they told us was a lie. Place is not clean. Employees seem very stressed out. Money seems to be missing from pna account. We made a poor choice in picking this place.

Be extremely cautious with this facility. Do your due diligence!

Be extremely cautious with this facility. Do your due diligence! Misleading and aggressive management. Misrepresentation of facility and staff capability. The assisted living section is OK, but the memory care unit is terrible. Install a nanny cam. We had one and have the abuse recorded. When I posted this review on facebook they removed the ability to leave any type of review. They also contacted me and said they would waive the money they say I owe them (I don’t owe them anything) to remove my review. Basically they would pay me to remove the complaint. Feel free to contact me at [removed] if you want additional information. There is a larger story here just didn’t want to go on and on. We will be filing a complaint with the State of Ohio. I feel no one should have to go thru this when you are desperately attempting to find care.

Honest assessment

The building itself is very old which presents problems by itself i.e. loses electrical power here and there, low toilet water pressure, air conditioning/heating system poor. Either too hot or too cold, never stabilizes to settings. Drafty windows, etc. Overall most of the aides are nice. They do nickel and dime you to death for the littlest of things though, so be aware and get it in writing what your needs are. Finally be forewarned the building is infested with fruit flies come Spring right through to the fall so enjoy the winter break from them. The flies are everywhere: in the dining room, elevators, apartments you name it. Most of the employees are oblivious to the infestation and chalk it up as a minor annoyance. Talk to some residents and they'll give you the low down.
