If someone asked me I would absolutely recommend Bethany Village. The application and move in process was very easy. My mother-in -law has been enjoying the optional activities. The culture among the residents is very friendly and welcoming. If there was an area to improve it might be the dining options. But overall I would definitely recommend it.

[name removed] was fabulous! [name removed] went beyond expectations. If I'd been placing my mom in an assisted living home, this would have been the one. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend Asbury Place Maryville to other families

My mom and I tell everyone we talk to how much my mom likes Ivy Gables. Mom is even going to be in their commercial. It's the best place to go.It was the best place for the money.

My loved one is currently a resident at Bethany Village. Overall, the facility/experience has been great. I'm not sure about the meals and dining, so I can't give that a rating. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The place is great, the community is very clean and the staff members have continued to be so helpful and friendly. There are activities during all different times of the day, they are keeping our loved one constantly active and engaged. There are exercise glasses and mind games. She is really enjoying the meals and dining service, she gets three meals a day and if there is something they made that she does not like they will make her something else so they have been really accommodating. For everything she is getting, which is a lot, we think the value for cost is great.

We chose this facility based on its small size, lovely environment and convenient location to other family in the area.

We're very happy with how things are going at Ivy Gables! It's a clean, well kept place, and the staff is caring, courteous, and very friendly. My loved one really seems to be enjoying herself here. They even do a good job with the food! We're very satisfied with the service they provide.

This is a place that offers continuous care with many amenities provided on campus. The whole philosophy of elderly care has really come a long way and Kindley/Asbury is designed to provide a high quality of life for the residents and a much lighter load for the families.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Communication with the family is good. The meals are not great. I would recommend the facility to others.

My loved one was previously a resident at Asbury Place Maryville and our experience at this facility was very good. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff, care services, value for cost and food were good. They did a good job and really tried to care for my loved one the best that they could before she passed. I would definitely recommend Asbury Place Maryville to others.

I have been very pleased. I love the setting, and am happy that she has pretty surroundings to get out and walk around in. Every member of the staff I have met are top notch. They have made a difficult adjustment for her go much smoother. My only con would be the interior needs some spiffing up..paint is scuffed on the walls in hallways and not many pictures are hung on the empty nails...it could use a little freshening up. Care is way more important to me than appearance, and they excel in that department.

The tour guide and the staff that I met during my tour were great. I really liked the facility too. It was all good until we got to the director of nursing. I did not like her very much and did not agree with a lot of the things she was saying to me. She was acting like she knew my mother better than me and that just did not sit right with me. There were also some things she wanted us to do prior to moving in that I did not agree with either.

This seemed like a nice community when we took our tour. The people we met were nice. This community is smaller and did not seem to offer a lot of room to move around. They offer less activities and staff than the community we chose.

I got a tour of the new Courtyard cottages with my Dad and my wife. There were two cottages still available for the phase that opens within a month or two and about 10 cottages available for the phase that opens in about a year. My Dad thought they were very nice but we will need to get my Mom to look at them before they make a decision.

The care staff are lovely and the facility is very clean. It is small and my mother likes it. However, beware of potential "bait-and-switch" with regard to pricing and other. My Mother is functioning on a fully independent level. Very disappointed with management/ownership. They have failed to honor the contract.

This is a very nice place. The residents are very friendly. The activities calendar is very repetitive for the residents. If you can get into independent care it would work better for your loved one, as they can be more mobile. The staff communication was very good with the family. The apartment had a small kitchenette in it.

Kindley needs to be revamped old and tired and somewhat depressing. The food is from Sysco . Eggs are scrambled (poured) limited foods choices not very appetizing.. floor is rooms and rooms are not cleaned very well and dusted well at all. Contacting doctor connected with Kindley is next to impossible. I moved my father in-law because he was no longer eating lunch or dinner as the meals were less than desirable. Elderly need food that is appetizing as it’s important to maintain overall health. He is so thankful that he has been moved , the new place he ate three times the first days which he has not done in many years. I wish I had inquired where the food was coming from prior to selected Asbury. He is being cared for so much better so far . I do realize that it has only been a few days but we all feel so welcomed and that staff are very invested in the people residing here. Kindley although they are nice enough they seem to be stretched thin . Too many residence per staff . One example the staff pop open the door and say hey are you going to eat vs walking in and talking to the resident asking him to come to lunch etc . Overall the place is just to large and institute feeling .

Hidden fees, very large move in community fee, terrible communication.....my loved one didn't get their medication for days. There was a total lack of communication about my loved one's care all around. I would not recommend Asbury Place Maryville to others.

Caveat emptor. Based on my experience, the care at Asbury is very good. The business practices are not. Asbury markets itself as a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Under the CCRC concept, a resident pays a substantial upfront fee ($XXX,XXX [amount removed] in our case) and in return is promised access to elevated levels of care when needed. Do not believe that promise. When my mother needed assisted living, we learned that there was a 45-person waiting list. As a result, we were charged the SNF rate ($XXX [amount removed] /day) rather than the AL rate ($XXX [amount removed] /day) for more than three months. My mother passed away in January 2023. With the notable exception of the pastor who had known my mother for many years, no one in Asbury’s management or leadership offered a word of condolences on the passing of a 16-year resident. To add a final insult, Asbury billed for 11 days of “incontinence services” after my mother had passed away.
