My mom and I tell everyone we talk to how much my mom likes Ivy Gables. Mom is even going to be in their commercial. It's the best place to go.It was the best place for the money.

Asbury Ivy Gables, is nestled in the village of Ardentown, Delaware and provides everything a senior living community should offer; a warm, friendly, comfortable and elegant lifestyle. It is surrounded by tastefully landscaped courtyards for relaxing with friends and families, listening to music or reading a book.
Asbury Ivy Gables, just off of interstate 95 at the Harvey Road exit and next door to our historical Candlelight Dinner Theater.
With twenty-four Assisted and Independent living apartments, our residents enjoy three home-style nutritious meals daily plus wine and cheese receptions; snacks and beverages are available around the clock.
Extra amenities include a bright and airy library, three season porches and physical therapy and fitness center.

One of the best places to live

Very Nice Well Kept Up with Friendly People
This is a very nice place. The residents are very friendly. The activities calendar is very repetitive for the residents. If you can get into independent care it would work better for your loved one, as they can be more mobile.
The staff communication was very good with the family. The apartment had a small kitchenette in it.

When I am older I want to come here
The place is great, the community is very clean and the staff members have continued to be so helpful and friendly. There are activities during all different times of the day, they are keeping our loved one constantly active and engaged. There are exercise glasses and mind games. She is really enjoying the meals and dining service, she gets three meals a day and if there is something they made that she does not like they will make her something else so they have been really accommodating. For everything she is getting, which is a lot, we think the value for cost is great.

Very disappointed
The care staff are lovely and the facility is very clean. It is small and my mother likes it. However, beware of potential "bait-and-switch" with regard to pricing and other. My Mother is functioning on a fully independent level.
Very disappointed with management/ownership. They have failed to honor the contract.

An attractive community
This seemed like a nice community when we took our tour. The people we met were nice. This community is smaller and did not seem to offer a lot of room to move around. They offer less activities and staff than the community we chose.

Friendly, courteous staff
We're very happy with how things are going at Ivy Gables! It's a clean, well kept place, and the staff is caring, courteous, and very friendly. My loved one really seems to be enjoying herself here. They even do a good job with the food! We're very satisfied with the service they provide.
