Everett is a small city located just north of Seattle which is known for being the location of a number of Boeing’s aircraft assembly plants. The city enjoys a mixture of urban and suburban living with a close proximity to nature. Everett is situated right alongside the Puget Sound, so there are plenty of beaches, and many parts of the city enjoy gorgeous views of Mount Rainier and the Cascades. Much of the city’s residents enjoy spending time outdoors and the city has a number of parks and walking trails. The most popular parks in the city for walking include Meadowdale Beach Park, Jetty Island, and the Centennial Trail.

Everett also has a number of museums for those interested in learning more about the history and the culture of the region. The Hibulb Cultural Center & Natural History Preserve educates visitors on the indigenous Tulalip people and the area’s natural history. One of the largest and most popular museums in the city is the Boeing Future of Flight Center, which offers exhibitions on various aircraft as well as a glimpse of the assembly process inside the Boeing Factory. Aircraft enthusiasts will also enjoy the nearby Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum. This museum showcases various rare warplanes and heavy military equipment from across the world, spanning numerous conflicts throughout history.
